I have seen Dr. Shuffelton 4 or 5 times in the past 3 years and found her to be very thorough and very knowledgeable. I have never felt rushed or as if I was wasting her time. She is really exceptional in her caring approach and personal attentiveness to my concerns and needs. I do not have prescription coverage and one of her staff suggested a local pharmacy that was willing to work with me on getting a drug that was needed for a case of the shingles.

While she is punctual and the staff is great and she also seems friendly at first, she is not a good doctor to go to if you need to get better from your sickness (which is usually why you need a doctor in the first place). I had a horrible flu and a horrible cough and she barely wanted to give me anything for it because she looked at me as though I was some druggy (which is weird being that I'm college educated, hold down a regular job and have NEVER used drugs and barely even use prescription drugs when I need them). Then, I had to go back to her two weeks later because I thought I was having a recurring flu, and she was basically just like, "Oh well, get some over the counter meds...goodbye". She didn't seem to want to take care of me. Why did I waste the money even seeing her when all she was going to do it say, "Take some Robitussin DM." She also asked if I wanted to go back to work THAT DAY! I was feeling HORRIBLE! I will never go back to her again.

Dr. Shuffelton is very diligent and professional. Her bedside manner is very calming and considerate. While she seems young her demeanor is reassuring. I will continue to see her and bring my kids once they grow out of their pediatrician. I would definitely refer people to her.

This is a great family doctor, she's friendly and very knowledgeable. She goes the extra mile and will try to squeeze you in if she is booked. She is younger than most doctors but don't let this fool you. I plan to stay with her a long time.
