Was looking for new thyroid doc. Had 2:45pm appointment and by 4 pm there were still 3 people ahead of me. What a wasted afternoon. His nurse is rude, not very knowledgeable and after talking to her I got up and left. Keep looking

I have seen him for almost 3 years now and staff has always been terrible. As for as Dr Rivera, he is nice, but I think his specialty must be diabetes from reading the reviews. I have Hashimotos Thyroid and went to him before diagnosis. He has never asked me about lifestyle, diet or anything that can cause symptoms I was reporting. I would just go once a year for my Rx and wait unacceptable lengths of time to see him. The last time, I scheduled the first appointment, after 90 minutes he was still not even at the office. After 2 hours, he was there, but I was very annoyed and left before seeing him. I had taken PTO time at work and had to get back. Very frustrating and inconsiderate!

I don't understand why doctors can't manage time better. I realize that there are emergencies and other problems, but I always have to wait at least a half hour after my appointment time to see Dr. Rivera. His staff seems uncaring about patients' comfort or long waits.

I LOVE this doctor! He is my third endocrinologist, having fired the first two. Yes, you will probably need to bring a book or something while you wait, but he NEVER makes any patient feel rushed and will spend all the time you need! He really understands diabetes since he has it himself. I credit his care with helping me drop 60 pounds and getting my A1C under control.

Long wait time; bring a book or something; if you are going to spend a lot of time with your patients than space them out more

Wait time is unacceptable. Waited more than 75 minutes to see the doctor.

LOVE HIM!!!! my first visit, he had me in tears because i finally felt like my doctor understood me and how hard my diabetes was! (he's a diabetic) he sits and talks to you and wants to know EVERYTHING (about your job, how's your family, etc). he really cares and shows an interest in you! because of this, you should probably count on having to wait in the waiting room (he spends lots of time talking with each patient), and his staff could be more efficient, but OH MY GOD is he worth it!!! love him love him love him!!!!
