I am a stunt performer and I received a severe blow to the head at the end of 2005. I was knocked unconscious and had to have 10 staples where my head had split open. I was sent to West Oak Urgent Care for my follow up where the doctor was rather aggressive in handling me. I had no MRIs done at this point, and could not move my head. I also had nerve damage down both arms and could barely move my right arm due to a tear in the rotator cuff. The nerve damage was from 2 bulging discs in my neck. When I asked the doctor not to touch my head or neck because he was being too aggressive and causing me pain, he reported to my workers compensation that I was very defensive and he suspected ulterior motives for my claim. He also permitted me to go back to work with weight lifting restrictions. I was unable to even drive my car at this point, and my ?work place? was stunt work. He referred me to an Orthopedic Doctor, Bruce Fishman, and they both failed to refer me to a neurologist.
