Dr. Guzman and the midwives at MomDoc Midwives are the best! I travel 2 hours each way to experience their excellent care. I have been with them for years

Dr. Guzman did not listen to my needs when I told him I would like to have a D&C after learning I had had a missed miscarriage. Because of my past history, already losing a child in a tragic accident, I basically pleaded with him to go ahead and schedule a D&C. Mind you, I totally believe in Momdocs, midwifery, etc. I would have loved to miscarry the natural way. However I looked him right in the eye & told him "I can't do this naturally. I can't handle this emotional, mentally, etc. I will be alone bleeding by myself with no one there" Instead he pandered to my husband who told Dr. Guzman "you won't be alone, I've got it taken care of" Instead of listening to my needs, he started complimenting my husband on what a great guy he is. I should have listened to my gut. I am to blame, because I shouldn't have allowed myself to be talked into the latter, naturally & then try the cytotec. I did end up bleeding profusely, caught the fetus in my hand by myself in the bathroom. I should have never listened to him and trusted my gut. I ended up in the ER aspirated 5 times, twice without pain medication/topical ointment for the cervix . I almost needed 2 blood transfusions. I would never recommend Dr. Guzman to any of my friends, because of his lack of empathy and understIng with my personal situation, in fact I will steer them away from him. What a disappointment, just another trauma to deal with that I shouldn't have had to. I learned my lesson. When I first found out the baby had died, Tiffany kindly explained my options...a D&C being one of them.

I just delivered my first baby a week ago and had a few problems on the way, but Dr. Guzman was very informative and made me very confident in my decision to have a c section. He is an amazing and compassionate doctor and I can't stop telling everyone what I great experience I had with him. Even though nothing went as I planned, I couldn't be more happy with the way it all turned out.

Love Dr. Guzman!! His bedside manner is amazing and he makes you feel like a friend more than a patient. He is very personable and eases any worries you might have and answers all your questions. I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Dr Guzman is the most phenomenal doctor. I consider him a friend, as well as, my doctor. His bedside manner is like none other and I would not be the same without him. I love Dr Guzman!

The best Dr. I have ever had!! When I first got pregnant I was set on a female Dr., until he delivered my daughter in 2010! He has the best bed side manners, very easy to talk with and just all around a great person. If you want a doctor who is respectable, knowledgable and easy to converse with please see him! Plus his staff are the most friendly ever and not to mention the nicest dr.'s office I have ever been in. So sad that I had to move away from AZ because I can't seem to find one half as good as him!

Saw Dr Guzman for a pre-surgery consult. I have never met someone as rude and condescending. He moved his chair and refused to look at or answer the questions that my fiance had. I was in tears by the end of the appointment due to his horrible bedside manner and will never ever go back there, please save your time and money and do the same.
