Gave me a 2nd degree episiotomy on my first natural (non medicated or complicated) birth and never told me he did it. It's been 8 years and I'm still mad about it. I've had 3 more children, no episiotomies. ZERO bedside manner.

I started seeing Dr. Zeman after using two other popular OBGYN's in North Bay and I have to say, I could not be happier. His office staff is awesome, he is always on time and has been a pleasure to deal with. Yes ,he has an accent, and may be a bit old fashioned but then so is my dad!! He may be a doctor who does not agree that 14 years old girls should get pregnant and is a little harsh with them...well duh!!?? He knows what he is doing and is the best in North Bay in his field. My experience with him has been awesome. He tied my tubes, and then I was diagnosed later with HPV, and he did my laser surgery for that and I he sees me every three months for follow ups. I am usually out of his office within 20 minutes!! waja's office...well let me say i waited there for 4-6 hours on some days! NO JOKE!! Please do not judge Doctors because of an accent or their age..I had Waja in the delivery room and he said if I did not push this baby out in one minte, he was leaving!!Nuff Said!

TOO BAD YOU CAN'T GIVE THIS MAN A BIG FAT ZERO FOR SOME THINGS. I HAD A PAP DONE AND HE UP AND WALKED OUT OF THE ROOM AND LEFT THE DOOR WIDE OPEN WITH ME STILL LYING ON THE TABLE IN STIRRUPS. LEAST HE COULD HAVE DONE IS WAITED TILL I HAD COVERED UP SO THE ENTIRE WAITING ROOM DIDN'T SEE ME BELOW THE WAIST. VERY POOR BEDSIDE MANNER, RUDE AND ARROGANT. THAT WAS MY FIRST, LAST AND ONLY VISIT WITH HIM AND I HAVE STEARED MANY FUTURE PATIENTS AWAY FROM HIM.

anyone who has said anything bad about dr.zeman, has not had achance to know him. once you can get past his accent, he is a sweet caring man.he tries his best and no one is perfect, including some of his patients. our canadian community is made up of to many whiners that should take atrip abroad and see how real, tough women do it. then ud understand why he can be the way he is. i thought us woman were the stronger sex! excellent dr., excellent job. enjoy your enpending retirement dr. zeman

Undoubtedly the most arrogant, rude, self-rightous, uncaring, ignorant person I've ever had the displeasure of meeting. I have just moved to northern Ontario from Ottawa and am discouraged to find out what northerners are forced to put up with. I would rather pay out of my pocket to go back to my wonderful doctor in Ottawa than to be subjected to such unpleasant and humiliating behaviour. After letting me know that he didn't really believe anything I was saying (first time I meet this guy), he does his exam, takes the sternum out of me and places it directly under the nurse's nose to ask her if she smells anything. No bedside manner, no tact, no compassion.

You cannot argue that this man knows his stuff but i think it's time he retires. i dont' know if he's always been this way or if it has come with aging but he is super rude,arrogant and insensitive. i know many people who have left his office in tears.

I have not seen this Dr. recently but when I did I found him to be very bossy, unconcerned and did not tell me the complete truth about why he did a certain procedure (which I found out from my family doctor six months later). Maybe he has changed since then? For his patients' sake, I hope so. I had the opinion, as I have with several doctors, that money is the guiding force. After my experience I would never go to him again and would deter anyone else from doing so: although I have been told some people think he is amazing! Wish he had been amazing with me!

Dr Zeman has delivered 2 of my 3 children and after experiencing a long horrible delivery and requiring several stitches with my first child - he proved he was the Dr I should have seen from the start! I required no stitching, medication, etc during the birth of my last two children because of his delivery techniques - which he has been utilizing for 30 + years. If you want experience, knowledgability, and a somewhat 'enjoyable' child birth - I would highly recommend Dr Zeman! He does come across as being a grumpy old man sometimes, but he is european and once you get to know him and talk to him - he melts! haha.

Direct and to the point, made sure i understood what my surgury was about and the after effects. i liked his bedside manner.Doesn't hold your hand but makes sure that everything is ok. He sure doesn't beat around the bush and he tells you like it is not what you want to hear.

Well I have known Dr. Zeman for a number of years and believe me he is worth his weight in gold. I wanted the best surgeon because I needed a hysterectomy. I new a couple girls that worked in the O.R. When asked hands down Dr. Zeman had the best surgical skills. Bedside manner,well he is hard to understand but believe me I'll take skill over bedside manner. Really when I think of it I never really had a problem with his bedside manner. Some day probably soon the man is going to retire and I know I'll miss him. I feel he is a very dedicated man to his profession. I'm happy he lived here in the north. Thank you Dr. Zeman
