Very poor bedside manner. From other reviews I’ve found, seems like he doesn’t agree with women who’ve used ART to conceive. Told me I was old (at 32) and assumed I chose a sperm donor via eeny meeny miny moe and doesn’t understand the donor process at all. After delivering devastating news (which multiple other doctors believe isn’t true at all after I received second and third opinions) he completely disregarded my follow up questions, and proceeded to get very angry, not in a jokingly way, at my Nashville, TN shirt which had a design with small pistols. Even his tech had to tell him he needed to chill out and it wasn’t that big of a deal. He’s seems like a very accomplished doctor but needs some interpersonal communications lessons and a refresher on all things infertility and conceiving processes of the 21st century.

In 1997 I gave birth to my son at 21 weeks. He was very concerned even though he was not my doctor at the time. My last two pregnancies I made sure he was our guy! I appreciated his straightforwardness and his ability be very intuitive when it came to the the needs of the baby and most importantly the mother. Thank you for all the years of service you have given us mothers who felt we had no hope. After 19 years we still love you.

Dr. Khoury is currently my high risk doctor and personally i respect the fact that he is straight to the point. No need to have him beat around the bush. I 've never felt uncomfortable with his approach. I think that someone who has to take the time to write a bad review 10 years later is simply bored with life! Find a hobby! Thanks Dr. Khoury for simply being u and i think u are definitely 1 of the best.🤗

My twins are now 10 years old. Thank God that I left this man, or I am quite sure I would not have lived through this very high risk pregnancy. Dr. Khoury was the opposite of polite, respectful, courteous, etc. his rude, abrasive manner combined with his arrogance left me frightened and in a perpetual state of anxiety. When I explained that I was anxious regarding the amino test, Khoury told me that I did not know what anxiety or fear were....he told me in his country he had a gun put to his head...THAT was fear. Each week, he'd come into the room, shake his head slowly and report what was wrong? He never said anything positive and I brought that to his attention. He told me that he doesn't note the positive...if I don't say anything..it's fine. (He told me) "I'll only tell you what is not right" I asked him to please give positives as well, he thought for a moment & told me my breasts were of fairly similar size, while most women have one smaller than the other. That's it! My only positive comment to support me in my pregnancy. About the 3rd week he questioned whether I should continue with the high risk pregnancy, he had nothing concrete...no medical facts...he didn't believe that I had medical support for my pregnancy due to back difficulties. He refused to speak with my treating physician for my back because she was not a surgeon. I named 2 that I had seen and he scoffed at the first ANC demanded proof from the top doctor at mt Sinai. Like a 4 year old I was told he would not continue to treat unless I had a note from this doctor attesting to what he had told me. No trust, condescending man. After I got him the note, he "found" another issue with my blood. He demanded to see my family to explain this blood disorder he had found, that impacted us all. Again, he wanted me to terminate because I was high risk. I saw a top blood specialist should ran all the tests on me....and my family members who were also now scared (for me and themselves). The specialist was angry that dr. Khoury made such profound statements outside his area of speciality...statements that were not correct. I asked the staff, who witness his verbal abuse. They noted that he could be a bit abrasive, but was the best doctor. A doctor is not one who cause more pain. My friend, who is also a midwife accompanied me to one visit. She was shocked. She told me to get away from him before I go into early labor and lose the babies. God intervened and the blood specialist gave me a referral for a high risk doctor who was professional, sweet, kind. Dr. Abdullah khan from Hackensack medical center was the reason I now have healthy twins. Oh! And Khoury told there was a likelihood of Down's syndrome, among other fear based ailments that would befall us. My twins are sweet, compassionate, socially related, funny and healthy. Both are in accelerated classes. I thought about going to see dr, Khoury years after they were born. To tell him the effect he had on me, etc...but I realized that he didn't care. He didn't care when I was there....so why would he care when I left. If anyone out there is considering a high risk doctor don't go to Khoury. He is more concerned about his reputation than his patient. I've already gave this advice to a friend and happy that she had a positive experience and a beautiful baby. You do not have to suffer dr. Khoury's abrasive/abusive demeanor because "he's the best". He led me in the wrong direction, and diagnosed my whole family with a blood disorder we need not have. Any 1 of those things would be enough to give a poor rating. He needs more than a poor rating....his License should be revoked. Sadly, I have met others with bad experiences but always different stories. Staff are better than I rated them. But since they can't stand up to this dr, their ability to effectively work with women with High risk pregnancies is impacted. Those looking for a doctor keep looking. You deserve better!

My twins are now 12 years old, but I think of and am thankful for Dr. Khoury every day. I had a horrific pregnancy and literally lived at St. Joe's for 6 weeks. A very scary time, but I was cared for by the very best. Thank you Dr. Khoury!

I'm shocked to see a negative comment about Dr. Khoury. He is the kindest, most compassionate Dr I have ever met. My husband and I are grateful to have such an incredible person see us through two very difficult pregnancies.
Perhaps it was the situation or circumstance that caused negativity, not the Dr. Its human error to mistake arrogance as pride. This man has every reason to be proud.

I just had my 2nd child and felt compelled to review the wonderful Dr Khoury. I was so surprised to see a negative review especially in regards to his bedside manner and money. He and my OB are the best doctors I've ever had. They don't sugarcoat but they honestly care about the well being of the baby and the mother. So much so that when my insurance denied ultrasounds for not being medically necessary, Dr Khoury did the necessary procedures for me, free of charge, knowing he wouldn't be paid. Money is the last thing on his mind. He cares about his patients, first and foremost. I would never see anyone else. His staff is also wonderful. There are no better MFMs in the area. This is the doctor you want caring for your baby.

My twins are now 11 years old, and I still think about how Dr. Khoury reassured me, calmed me, and got me through a difficult pregnancy. We are so blessed that he was there when we needed him.

He is the rudest man . Worse bed side manner. All he wants is money . His front desk girl Carmen is the sweetest person . I will never go see this man again.
