Have since found another Dr. Knew more about her then I should have ever known due to her poor sense of boundaries. Walls in the office are thin so you get to listen to what ever is discussed in the next room. She often seemed rushed and blew off conditions rather then taking time to discuss them. You can do much better.

Personal medical information for this office is being shared with others who should not see it!
This has happened more than once. And, “YOU” should be concerned because it could be or may be happening to you without you knowing about it!
Your medical information is private information and should only be shared between you, your doctor, or confidential party. It should not be shared with me. But, unfortunately it is!
On more than one occasion, I have received Dr. Giacona’s patient’s lab results; faxed to me at my home office. On each occasion, I informed the patient, and each time, it was brought to Dr. Giacona’s attention. BUT, IT STILL IS HAPPENING.
On this last occasion, I visited Dr. Giacona’s office and tried to see her either between patients or after patient hours, to explain why I thought this was happening. You would have thought since this is reoccurring, that Dr. Giacona would have been concerned or have taken an interest to correct the situation. But, she was not, in the very least, bit concerned …. Shocking…Totally irresponsible!
If Giacona does not seem to care, perhaps “YOU” might. If you are a patient of Dr. Giacona, please let me know what “YOU” want me to do with “YOUR” lab results when I receive them …. Because this irresponsible doctor does care who is receiving the information.

Dr. Caryn Giacona is knowledgeable, compassionate and skillful. I've seen her for years and am very happy with her and the entire practice. I've also recently moved my teenage daughter (from a pediatrics practice) to Dr. Giacona.

Personal boundaries are not good. Does not listen well and at times made some very inappropriate comments. You can do better.

my first impression of her was that she was abrupt. she is a nice person, but I did not think she was thorough. Her answer for most of my problems were antibiotics without even really looking further. It would be beneficial if she listened a little more and slowed down a lot. I always felt rushed -like i had to hurry up and give all my symptoms becuase she already knew what the problem was. Sighhh where have all the real doctors gone?

Well run office. She is the nicest person. Truly seems to understand. Really wants to help her patients. I love this practice.

Dr. Giacona is a very pleasant doctor to deal with - she is patient and will listen to you. She is throrough and her staff members are nice and the wait if usually short to see her.
