I went through a very high risk twin pregnancy and Dr Cucco was amazing through it all. He was very honest, supportive, and thorough. He stuck by my side and was even with me on Thanksgiving day when I was admitted to the hospital early. He is the most professional, caring and well qualified OB/GYN that I have ever seen. He saved my life and the lives of my twin sons and for that I am forever grateful.

Dr. Cucco was my Dr. for many years. He was always caring, attentive, and knowlegable. His practice provided everything I needed to feel comfortable and knowing I would get my health care needs met.

I have been a patient of Dr. Cucco for at least the past 10 years. I am shocked at the negative reviews and references to Dr. Cucco's Womancare being a big Scam. Every time I have seen him he answers all of my questions, addresses my concerns and spends time with me. He is gentle, but thorough. To top it all off, we moved to Florida 2 years ago and I saw someone locally that I did not like nearly as much as Dr. Cucco. ...so Dr. Cucco has continued to answer questions and to be willing to see me on a yearly basis as I visit my children at least that often. I am seeing him in December. In the meantime, his nurses, Cari and Lucia have answered all my questions and been very helpful as the hormones he prescribed are now a generic of a generic (Lopreeza- this decision was made by the pharmacy without my knowledge) and they made me very dizzy and "hormonal"! So Dr. Cucco and his staff have helped me with this issue long distance! They call me promptly and they genuinely care about how I am feeling! Ladies, don't believe the negative stuff you read about Dr. Cucco and Womancare. Dr. Cucco is an excellent doctor!!!!! Believe me I am very picky when it comes to healthcare of any kind. I am a doctor of Psychology and I do my research. If you are looking for a great gynecologist, look no further!

Dr. Cucco's clinic is the BIGGEST SCAM ever in the Chicagoland area. He specialize in scamming people and insurance companies to maximize his profit and hurt the customers. He billed me for things that I NEVER authorized him to do, then his staff blackmailed me to either pay or they will put it to collection. This is a very scummy way to earn a living. We spoke with many people that they had the same exact experience with them. His reputation of over charging his customers is all over. Make sure to tell everyone you know to be very careful of this shady operation. We plan to file all legal actions against this organization and against Dr. Cucco personally to make sure that they do not do this to anyone else.

I have been a patient here for 9 years. I have hopped around from one doctor to the next because their turn over is high, but I finally settled with Dr. Cucco. I wasn't a fan but he is the owner, so he doesn't up and leave.

Since my time there, I have always known this doctors office to have rude front desk staff, but I have dismissed it as I go there for the doctors, not the woman up front. I was put off by the fact while I'm having my lady parts probed, the doctor is trying to sell me on their spa.... this is a doctors appointment, not a sales pitch. That should have been my first red flag.

But then it turns out that they are crooks. When I told my family and friends about this, they all said they have experienced this same thing from this office. I had mentioned an issue I was having and Dr. Cucco (the owner or "CEO") suggested I get a blood test done. I asked to have just that specific blood test done and no other because I have heard they are known for tacking things on without you knowing and unnecessarily inflating the bill. Despite emphasizing I do not want any other test done, I get an extremely inflated bill (even after insurance coverage). I contacted my insurance company and discovered it is because despite my request not to do any other test, they ordered 8 other blood tests in addition to the one I said specifically was the only one I wanted. When I tried to dispute they were not helpful or friendly, and pretty much blew me off.

Final red flag, after having been a patient there for entirely too long... they can't keep doctors on staff for more than a few years. I find one I like and then all of a sudden they leave to go to another practice. Same with the nurses and medical assistants. I don't know what happens behind scenes, but maybe the staff feel the same way I do about their practice.

Just don't be fooled by the pretty office and spa like setting... you're paying for it.

I have gone to Womancare, Dr. Cucco's practice, for over 5 years now. My experiences with him through two pregnancies have been highly unsatisfactory due to his manners. Obviously he has never been pregnant or gone through childbirth, and it really shows in his lack of compassion and lack of discretion on simple matters such as knocking before entering the room. During my first pregnancy I was having severe bladder pain and he told me I would just have to learn to deal with it. Two other physicians in the practice took the time to look up medications I might be able to use and things I might be able to do to feel better. This time around, he has been nothing if not brusque and insulting. He told me today at an appointment that in a month I had gained the weight of an entire baby, "you know that don't you??" Unkind, considering my husband and another new male doctor, who was training, were in the room. At least I was not in a paper gown.

Dr Cucco has a full service practice. The office is great as is the staff. His performance is ok, but seemed to rush my exam. He also seemed more interested in upselling other services ($$$) instead of focusing on my reasons for being there in the first place

Dr. Cucco is extremely disrespectful to his patients and does not abide by appropriate HIPAA and privacy regs. Its not that he's a bad clinician. He's just not a good one. Does not bother to explain anything, to anyone.

Dr Cucco delivered my son 3 years ago and I couldn't have been more satisfied as a patient. I happened to see his name on this sight and was appalled by the negative rating he received. The person who left the negative comment was clearly incapable of being helped by anyone.. even her own husband. I do not feel that because of this lady's psychotic episode Dr Cucco deserves a negative rating. Her last sentence says it all "Through all this, Dr Cucco never saw my face and only talked to me once" What the ??? Dr Cucco is a very well respected physician who doesn't deserve to get stuck with a patient like that! I do have to add that I do know the pain of losing a pregnancy and even though I didn't have my own Dr for the D&C I still felt privileged to be cared for by an associate that Dr Cucco trusted.
