Horrible experience. Do not use this doctor. Switched practices and was happy. She did not do enough monitoring, let me become hyperstimulated, continued with a transfer despite that. Lab was HORRIBLE. As a young person with not a super complex issue had terrible results. Switched and had 100% right away. I felt scammed by the $2,000 of bloodwork they make you order, despite this not being clinically indicated (which is why insurance won't pay). Felt incentives were VERY monetary, not care based. Had me do procedures which my next doctor said were unnecessary.

Dr. Coulam and the amazing staff at the Reproductive Medicine Institute are the reason that my partner and I are parents to our beautiful son. Because it took us so long to get and stay pregnant, everyone at RMI feels like family. They are exceptional communicators, ensuring that we understand every step in our treatment plan. They patiently answer every question and address every concern, even those that have been asked and answered previously. Dr. Coulam is always leading the charge in medical advancements. She is willing to take appropriate risks without compromising the health of her patients, which I suspect is why she is in such demand at conferences around the world. We have had procedures in the Evanston and Oakbrook locations and have never been taken late in more than four years as patients. Lab work is done as quickly and painlessly as possible and results are communicated immediately. You won't find a more compassionate, professional or effective practice.

She was the only doctor to treat me for my APA syndrome and we had our one miracle child because of her. She also saved my life with my aspirin and heparin regimen. I will forever be grateful and as a nurse I can attest to her professionalism and knowledge. My son is now 9 and I thank God everyday for my Liam and for Dr.Coulam. She blew the CT doctors away and helped me have a live healthy baby. Worth the blood work, meds, and trips (took her two tries- CT 3 with no results) to Chicago and worth every penny.

Not informative about my condition, evasive on questions, and I didn't feel confident in her during procedures. I would not recommend.

My insurance card is not her ATM card ! Dr. Carolyn Coulam takes more time billing you and your insurance than actually treating you. I wish she would be audited. She made me waste so much time and money in useless tests that I gave up after a while. She really made me think that she was using my insurance card as her own ATM. Of course, with her I never got any other results.
