As others have said her bedside manner is horrible and made me feel the same. She works in ob triage at Prentice. She was condescending and has a very unfiltered approach. If she is knowledgeable it would be hard to know due to her attitude. She actually questioned me about returning to work. All I wanted was a note stating I was there. Which turned into her questioning me about it and writing personal information on the "doctor's" note therefore making it useless. I would never use her as a doctor and would consider leaving triage if she was on duty at the time. She probably needs to just retire.

Horrible bedside manner and was extremely condescending. Misses things and rushes appointments, does not give adequate time to patients. Stay away

I went in to check for HPV. Dr. Stika seemed to be inpatient and wasn't answering my questions with enough details. I left more worried than when I came in. Most of my knowledge about HPV was gathered from the internet, not from the doctor's office. But the worse part is that she encouraged me to sign up for the online communication with the office and when i sent a follow up question through that services, i didn't get any response from her at all, while it was indicated on the website that the answer should be provided within 48 hours. I had to call her and there was a mixed up information about my test results depending on who you are talking to. I am not coming back to Dr. Stika.

She may be very knowledgeable, but I would not recommend her to anyone. She smiles a lot, but is in fact impatient in answering my questions. I'm having my first baby, and a lot times, her comments made me feel I am ignorant. She also used a lot of force when she examined me. It was really painful once(and I bled a lot) but she didn't say a word other than "That's normal!"
