This guy is a butcher. He pulled two of my teeth, after hardly numbing the area. I started to scream and he said "oh you're a screamer are you, well stop screaming"
I've never been treated so poorly. Stay away from this guy at all costs!

My wife went in and Dr Ettinger was very short and cold with her. She told him she was nervous and his reply was "I'm nervous too, I normally prefer people are asleep for this so I don't have to hear them say I'm nervous"

What kind of doctor does that?

During our preliminary exam Dr. Stringer and his staff seemed friendly and helpful. But during our return visit for my wife to have her wisdom teeth out the receptionist seemed very cold and short with us, only talking enough to get us to sign a form, ask for our temperatures, give a fake half hearted apology when she got information about my wife's procedure wrong, and pay announcing to the room how much. After which she did not say anything to me for the rest of my wait. Had no idea my wife was finished until I noticed her outside. I waved said goodbye have a nice day to which I only received a cold look, which was easy to notice as she wasn't wearing a mask.

After we left my wife said Dr. Ettinger was cold and rude today, as if once they got the money they were done caring about you.

I normally wouldn't have noticed or really thought about any of this. Going about my day without thinking twice.

But during our very long wait I started to notice the treatment the white couple behind us got from the receptionist. She was friendly and talkative with them, even walking them through options when their card was declined, never announcing their fee. While they were sitting and waiting for the doctor, trying to figure out payment she went out of her way to let the wife know she could stay there in the waiting room or in her car and she would come out to let her know they were finished. Which was the point I noticed the difference in the service we got.

Don't know if it was racial or not as I'm Black and my wife Asian and from some of the other reviews I've seen it may not be. But either way if this is just the way they work I can understand why they haven't won an award in more than 10 years.

Dr. Ettinger pays people to write positive review for him and his staff. He actually offered to give me a generous discount on my oral surgery.
After my procedure I feel that he messed my other teeth in the process after confronting he sweared on his dead dog that he didn't touched the teeth next to the wisdom tooth (which is a lie) I feel he did something to get back at me. Please read all the negative reviews before going there.

Had to have an extraction asap and Dr Ettinger and staff were able to get me in. I was very pleased with the whole procedure from walking in the front door to having the extraction. I would highly recommended Dr Ettinger and would definitely use them again if the need should arise.

10/10! He was pretty funny which helped me be a little less nervous about getting my wisdom teeth removed. Recovery is also going well, would highly recommend him to anyone.

A truly pleasurable visit to an Oral Surgeon! From my first consultation to the day of the procedure, Dr.Ettinger and the staff made this easy. Everyone is absolutely professional and attentive. The waiting room is fabulous! You can even play a game of PAC-MAN on a vintage PAC-Man unit! Dr. Ettinger knows his business, and has a no-nonsense direct, informative approach. My procedure, which consisted of three teeth extracted (2 wisdom and a molar) was painless! If you can believe that! It felt like it took 5 minutes. One minute I am laying in the chair talking to the “doc” and the staff, and a minute later, I am waking up and feeling fine. That evening I received a call from the staff to check on me. And she kindly spent time explaining the answers to my questions. I would recommend these professionals to anyone.

I brought my son to see Dr. Ettinger solely on recommendations. Wow was I surprised! A truly amazing staff! My son was in pain from his wisdom teeth, and when I called I was able to get him scheduled in less than 48 hours for a consult. The surgery was days later. Dr. Ettinger is a great surgeon. He took the time and talked to my son and told him everything about the procedure. My son had minimal swelling and no complications. I was so pleasantly surprised how the staff and doctor treat you there! Debbie is a great assistant, she spent plenty of time going over everything post-op. Dr. Ettinger even had a one week post op appointment for my son to check on his healing. (My daughter had a different oral surgeon who never did this). Dr. Ettinger is a great surgeon and he has a very friendly staff from the front desk, to assistants and even the woman in billing.
