Dr. Connolly may be a proficient surgeon, but he is not a good doctor. His bedside manner is *awful*. He lacks any empathy or warmth, clearly doesn't care about his patients as people - merely jobs to be worked on. He uses technical medical jargon to "explain" things to you rather than regular English that non-medical folks can easily understand. He also has, more than once, conducted aggressive examinations of areas that other doctors have examined but done so with such force that it left me sore afterwards for the remainder of the day. On top of that, he shows so little respect for you that he'll just walk over, without a word about what he's about to do, and just start manipulating your body, pushing your head side to side with some force so that he can conduct a forceful and aggressive exam. He won't ask permission, he won't tell you what he's doing, and he won't ask if you feel OK while he's doing it. Two friends who accompanied me to both a pre-surgery consultation as well as the operation itself were also floored at his terrible bedside manner and the way he oozes disrespect and lack of any real care for you as a human being. To summarize, I've seen dogs at the veterinarian treated with *much* more care and warmth and a better bedside manner than I was treated by him as a human being. Run, don't walk, away from Dr. Connolly.
