I went to Dr Merchant in 2007 after spending barely few minutes online, on my medical provider's site trying to find a doctor nearby. I was having some problems and she said that an endometrial biopsy would be needed. I asked her if it would be painful. She said, no, you will be a bit uncomfortable for some time that some day, but after that no discomfort. She never mentioned that there would be any pain despite me asking that question. I was new to the area and should have done my research trying to read reviews. The procedure was painful and I had pain for a full week, and then discomfort for several days. When I tried to find out whether this much level of pain was expected after such procedure from another doctor, I was informed that no, there should barely have been any pain. The second doctor also said that he had heard bad reviews of Dr Merchant, and wondered why I did not try to find out more before going to her.

This is a money hungry office horrible way of treating patients and never pays on time. They owe money everywhere and that's why there is never someone stable there they always leave that place because there so unprofessional. would not recommend this place at all to no one! There billing sucks all they do is over charge and request unnecessary test and exams.

I had a terrible pregnancy and everytime I complained about my issues, she laughed and told my husband that those are my illusions. Though she is experienced,she is money minded. There would be unncessary tests, ultrasounds and visits scheduled just for money. Most of my visits ended up with her nurse. And she would come and leave within a few minutes. I would never recommend her to anybody.

this company is ALL about the money. She keeps making you to come back for unecessary stuff. I went in for a pap and i was told i had to get in a diet and to return in a month and have lost 5 pounds.And then i was told to make an ultrasound appointment for what im not having any problems. when you want to talk to her shes no where to be found. I do have to admit her staff is great very proffesional and respectfull. and all this gruopon stuff is a scam.. PLEASE BE CAREFULL WITH THIS COMPANY. Check with your insurance and make sure you were charged for what u had done..

Very unprofessional. Made me wait for 1 hr and 45 mins and yet she was rushing. Her diagnosis was incorrect. After the first visit, it is her nurse who saw me. They did not call me with mammogram results. But they constantly call me and ask me to make new appointments. I am a very unhappy patient.

I have been through 2 stressful pregnancies and this office has held my hand though both and made me feel much taken care of! I have been seen by Dr. Merchant and am absolutely grateful for her care. I have two incredible kids now and I am thankful for getting them here safe. I have been with a Hoffman Estates office since 2001 and I have never had any problems with any staff members, everyone has been so nice. I am recommending Dr. Merchant`s office to anyone who is not happy with their current OBGYN doctor. Having a reliable gynecologist is crucial for women’s health and thanks God I found one!

I've been seeing Dr. Merchant for about 10 years now. I've had occasion to work with her and some of her partner physicians over the years and have found them all very professional and knowledgeable. Dr. Merchant truly believes in treating the whole person and not just a single problem or disease. I found her by accident and am very glad I did.

I moved from Florida about 2 years back and wanted a good and reputable OB/GYN, my friends highly recommended Dr. Merchant. My first visit was excellent, the frontdesk staff were so efficient and knowledgeable, they really treated me as a person not as a patient with a number. Dr. Merchant was so friendly and informative and put me at ease. See I had heavy bleeding and menstrual cramps and had been treated for endometrioses but did not find any improvement. Dr. Merchant was very patient and listened and answered all my concerns in a very professional manner. She suggested a biopsy at my next appointment at the office. At the time of my biopsy, I was very nervous but Dr. Merchant was very gentle and kind and explained the procedure and its aftermath to me. I can gratefully say that I have never encountered such a wonderful doctor who treats her patients with dignity and compassion. I for one will always be a faithful patient of Dr. Merchant’s and urge everyone out there to come to her.
