I love the small atmosphere of Dr Yongs office. Most offices now are big corporate and no personalization. When ever I call he always calls right back and if just a easy question the receptionist always helps me

Hmmmm, I wonder why the sweet and delightful Doctor left?! She was very attentive, compassionate when I had a mild breakdown when my husband passed away. She even called me the next day after our visit to check yo see if I felt better! That's what should be expected from a physician, honest , sympathetic , compassion and integrity. Dr Yong seems to have those qualities even though my visit was quick, which did not bother me. However the receptionist is awful in every way and I cannot believe Dr Yong does not know how ugly her soul is! Which I believe that her attitude problem and despicable behavior Dr Yong will not receive new patients and some are leaving because that woman she is scaring patients away!!! I dread calling his office for appt/refill of meds because my blood pressure becomes higher. I hope and pray Dr Yong will take the time to read all the negative comments from his lovely, loyal and intelligent patients!

I'm new to Dr Yong and I found him caring and very knowledgable regarding my health issue. Even though my visit was quick and I understood because he needed to see me to refill meds. However I am debating on changing doctors due to the horrible receptionist. I've never experienced such a miserable, uncaring, impatient and such terrible manners! I don't understand why such a caring doctor keep on a rude, condescending, hateful and probably jealous human being!!??? A chimpanzee would do a better job than her! Why Dr Yong do you allow such a mean, horrible woman work for you?? I've been a receptionist for over 20 years and what I've learned was when a patient calls for an appointment the first time the receptionist is the reflection on what to expect at their first visit or will not book an appointment due to receptionist nasty attitude! Unfortunately I do not have health insurance so I pay $70 per visit plus extra for my meds. So again Dr Yong will lose money and patients due to the demon receptionist! It might be pity he keeps her on but that's not fair and she's lucky to have a job! I can perform that job with care for others, attentive , kindness and importantly compassion! I'd hate to leave Dr Yong but I cannot deal with her, I'm even afraid to call for an appointment or refill request cuz she is the most disgraceful woman I have ever dealt with! I would pay extra to see another doctor/clinic just because of the disrespect I've received by her. Why Dr Yong do you keep an insensitive, uncaring and argumentative receptionist??? I requested to speak you about a personal issue and she never left him message, she called me back with disgrace!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Yong's for 20+ years. I have found him easy to talk to, patient and he will personally call with test results, which is unheard of in today's world. As for the office staff, they leave much to be desired, especially the female office employee.

This doctor is not to be trusted with female patients! Insists on giving girls and young women breast exams on EVERY office visit, or anytime a patient is admitted to the hospital. This was done to me from 12 years old to 19 years old. I had to request at multiple hospitals that Dr. Yong not be contacted about my care as he was no longer my physician for several years afterward. He sees patients at Elmhurst Memorial and Good Samaritan hospitals.
