Dr. Mersberger is a wonderful doctor and a great person. He always takes his time and you never feel rushed or made to feel like a number. He definitely treats you like a member of his family. He has spent upwards of 30 minutes in the room with me following my diagnosis of breast cancer and made sure I understood what was going on and what to expect. He answered all of my questions as well as questions from my family (even phone calls from out of state children). The best bedside manner of any doctor I have ever visited and he will take the time and get to know you as a person which is very rare. He is also very open and very easy to talk to. His family is awesome. His daughter came in and talked to me while I waited for him to come into the room and we had a pleasant conversation, Very cute! I have used him for several years and refer countless friends and family to him and none have been disappointed with their experience. Did not like the group he was affiliated with (North Atlanta Primary Care) but he has subsequently left the practice and relocated back to Dawsonville. Very happy to have him close to home again. If you are looking for an awesome medical doctor and not one who has his head buried in a computer screen rather than talking to you, this is the doctor for you. He doesn't work in Alpharetta anymore as he moved his practice to Dawsonville. I have visited his office several time for a wide range of problems..bronchitis, broken hand, lacerations, a piece of metal in the eye, stomach virus....His office is very efficient and he is a pleasure to talk to. Not one of those pompous jerks who just wants your money and to get you out of the office as fast as possible. I have been to nearly all the docs in Dawsonville and he is by far the best of the bunch. He definitely knows his medicine and seems to have a great staff where everyone seems happy and enjoys their jobs. He has treated me extremely well and I don't see anyone else for my routine medical care because this guy can do it all! Make sure you see Dr. Mersberger if you go to the office because he does have a partner who is also good but a little on the dry side. Just my 2 cents!
