After waiting to be seen for over an hour and a half, without the common curtesy of an explanation or apology, I decided to leave and look elsewhere for a neurologist. Had I shown up almost two hours late for my appointment I’m quite certain I would not have been seen by this, or any other doctor. Based on other comments, this seems to be Dr. Christie’s way of doing business. Highly unprofessional and disrespectful.

Impossible to reach. The staff don't answer the phone and the phone's inbox is full so you can't leave messages. (It's been like that for weeks at least.) I spent 2 hours in her waiting room, and then was rushed through my appointment in 8 minutes.

I tried to give this doctor a chance, I really did.

I waited patiently 9 months for a first appointment. I was rescheduled at the last minute twice, but was told it was “for more urgent patients. That’s ok, maybe it will be me who is urgent someday ... However, I eventually I started to feel like “when is it my turn?”

Finally went to my first appointment, was seen 2 1/2 hours late. Delays are ok, but such a long wait indicates to me that there is a much bigger issue somewhere.

In my appointment I was scolded repeatedly for not seeing a doctor sooner about my migraines. Well... it took me 4 years to convince my GP to give me a referral and 9 months to see you, I did what I could!

Just did not feel that I had a good experience with this doctor at all. I think she is likely very knowledgeable about migraines and might be a good specialist for some, but I have gone back to my GP and requested a referral to another specialist, even if it means waiting another 9-12 months to hopefully see someone I connect with better.

Always late, staff never answer the telephone and she prescribed me several migraine medications over the course of a year, even though she said I "definitely don't suffer from migraines", just to see "what might help". Often felt rushed through my appointments and she did not take my concerns seriously. Happy to be seeing a new neurologist. What a waste of time it has been, seeing Dr. Christie for over a year, with little to no help in the reduction of my chronic headaches.

I’m seriously getting tired of being rescheduled every single time I have an appointment. I have had 4 appointments, and each and every time they call me a day before to reschedule. They will reschedule you for weeks/ months down the road, and then make you wait longer as you’ve been rescheduled. I am now in the process of requesting a new neurologist. Absolutely ridiculous.

Dont expect her to be on time. It never happens. 1.5-3 hours is the norm. With no apologies. Very narcissistic if you ask me. When I first started going to see her I was shocked by how late she was but everyone in the waiting room told me they have come to expect this and prepare with books and such for the ridiculous wait.

Ignore the negative Nancys on here. Dr Christie is the most knowledge doctor I have ever met. I know a LOT about neurological disorders and have read countless studies and research papers as well as healthy approaches.... and Dr Christie never ceases to amaze me with her knowledge. She really cares about her patients and we could never go to anyone else.

If you're looking for the best Neuro in town, look no further.

She is a good doctor, knows what she is doing. But only downfall is not the tardiness, that one can deal with. it's Time. She needs to give time and listen don't rush patients out of there. it's not quantity of patients to get through but the quality of care that makes a difference. Otherwise she is smart, and the care has helped and i'm grateful for that.

She may be good for other issues, but she is actively harmful for patients with concussion migraines. If that's why you are going, do not bother seeing her. Save yourself the time and stress. She has no solutions or advice to offer. See another doctor.

I am sure she is a good doctor but her office staff is out to lunch! They are clearly over worked and they are not pleasant or reliable. They do not answer the phones, return messages, confirm appointments or process important paperwork properly. Thankfully we only had to visit her office 3 times in the last 6 months and we never have to go back. Its completely dysfunctional and be prepared to wait hours in her waiting room listening to her horrible staff before you get to see her.
