Dr. Chandurkar was a very nice doctor but the receptionist has real problem dealing with people. She rude, unhelpful, incompetent and a horrible person that says the most unprofessional things. I’d like to keep seeing the doctor but I don’t know if I can get past how the receptionist deals with me. It looks like I’m not the only person she treats this way.

His secretary is terrible that she just keep telling me the dr will not be in office but never tried to book an appointment for me nicely.

Dr Chandurkar is a very good endocrinologist and I’ve found is the best of the three I have had in my lifetime. While the punctuality is lacking (let’s face it, what doctor is punctual…it actually probably means that he gives his patients whatever time they need in each appointment as opposed to rushing them out when time is up). He always explains himself in an intelligent, respectful and understanding manner. The only drawback is having to deal with his receptionist who is rude, condescending and screws something up almost every single time I deal with her whether it be for setting appointments, refilling medication or any other activities I have the displeasure of dealing with her about. If Dr Chandurkar wasn’t so good at what he does, I would have easily tried to find another Endo.

Showed no interest in attending to my mother. Saw her 3 times. I asked him if he read her chart said he didn't have time. I asked him if he had listen to her chest. Said yes all the time when I know for a fact that he didn't . Total disrespect for family if they have a POA. Does not like to speak to family over the phone. Claims he has no time for that. We had a terrible experience with him. Would not recommend him at all.

Dr. Chandurkar is an amazing Dr!!! I will definitely miss him as my endocrinologist, I was sad that my last appointment was my last! He was always so caring, kind and considerate at every appointment! He did some genetic testing and finally got to
The bottom of my strange diabetes. Thanks dr. Chandurkar for your patience, hard work and the extra push to get the genetic testing done! You'll be missed for sure!

Thought he was a nice guy and interested in my case but that was only when he thought I was a diabetic!! I saw this doctor for unpredictable hypoglycemia that is impacting my daily life and it is unrelated to diabetes as I am not a diabetic. He was completely disinterested and said do not treat the lows and do not do blood sugars. He said I had a rare condition but he had no interest in determining what that was. I saw him 3 times in clinic and 2 of the times he was disinterested. He then discharged me at the third visit with no referral or follow up with another Endocrinologist. I feel the behavior was unethical and he did not follow best practices for hypoglycemia. Without treating the lows you can end up with brain damage and whether or not you check your blood sugar the symptoms of hypoglycemia are there. He is moving to Ontario and I pity his future patients if he continues with his lack of interest and empathy.

JUST EXCELLENT! Really caring and knowledgeable! Takes the time to explain everything and makes sure you understand what is needed. I even had to email him for a few problems and he responded me either by calling me back or through email! This is impressive!! He follows the problems I mention to him each session that I see him and he asks about them to see if there has been any improvement or anything needs to be done about them.
I am lucky and glad that I have him as my endocrinologist!!!
