Very caring doctor, great bedside manner. It will be hard to find another GYN like him. Today the doctors are so much younger not saying they are not knowledgeable in their field. I just prefer a more experienced doctor :)

i have not been to Dr Fox for years, but my primary care physician has been urging me to go. I just dont like going for this type of exam so I have been avoiding it. But I looked him up to make sure he has not retired and am happy he is still practicing. I am looking foward to seeing him because he has been very caring and has spent extra time with me when I needed to talk. I think he is very professional.See you soon Dr.Fox

He delivered 2 ofbmy children an I should have stopped going after the first one. First pregnancy all he cared about was making remarks about me "getting fat@" and i was underweight to begin with and only gained 20 lbs the entire pregnancy. Never felt so ugly in my life. Made my pregnancy experience depressing. Second pregnancy went went until the last 3 months where I retained alot of water and blood pressure was high. Kept saying I was fine and there wasn't that much protein in urine to be preclampsia. During birth blood pressure skyrocketed to close to stroke level even with epidural. Again he said not pregnancy related. Leaving hospital my bp was 180/100 and wouldn't let nurses it before I was discharged saying it was not relevant. To make a long story short, he is only decent when you're without problems.

I have read all the reviews and can only tell you that my experience with Dr Fox and his staff have been nothing less that wonderful. I have been going to him since 9/2005, after my long time OBGYN dissolved his practice. He delivered my third child and I would definitely recommend him to friends. I even had an issue while I was on vacation in Florida and he quickly returned my call and called in a prescription over the phone. The office knows me by name and if the doctor is not immediately available, I have always received a call back in a timely manner. It is unfortunate that others did not have the same experience as I and I am not sure what to attribute that to.

Fine for routine extams for several years, but then trying to get pregnant... Assumed infertility problems were my husband's fault so 2 years "wasted" before he finally referred us to a ferility specialist. They were shocked that I had no tests in 2 years - not even an routine ultrasound. Then they found large cysts which he likely missed on a routine physical 6 months prior. Plus after receiving updates on my situation, he did not follow-up with me at all. His words "come back to me when you're pregnant" meant more than I thought!

It''s been many years since I went to DR. Fox so I don''t remember waiting times and the such. But I do remember a couple very negative experiences clearly. 1). I was told I had an irregular pap result via a mailing which included a brochure on cancer stages. 2). After going several times to see him (over a period of years)because of chronic pain, I was told: "You do not have a gyno. problem and should consider taking valium." I later learned that I was suffering from endometriosis & exibited the classis symptoms of that illness. DR. Fox should have recognized this. He should have been much more understanding in the way he treated me as well. I was made to feel like a nuisance when I discussed my physical concerns with him.
