Anyone using this site as an instrument in making informed decisions, decisions as to the medical care they are planning on recieving, should avoid this physician. The argument against using this surgeon is very simple. First, whether a surgeon is kind is of little concern when your life is involved. The main concern you should have is the success rate of a surgeon and that rate of success compared to the national average. If you read the comments on this site, comments which continually document the mistakes causing serious harm and sometimes death – death being a result we wish to avoid at all costs - in routine surgeries. So, my point to make is that there should be no relevance in what a doctor’s attitude is, and that a surgeon's attitude should be an aside to the surgeon's skill and training. My personal opinion is that Dr. Cooper doesn't meet an apealing standard of care - based on results - and therefore must have some disability present in his current skills.
