Dr.Brewer constantly insisted that I was over weight and needed to go to a dietician. My ins. would not cover it.I only gained 30lbs, making my total weight 150.He called me at 10 pm and told me my son would have down syndrome. He sent me to Riley and the doctors laughed and said he had no clue what he was talking about that my son had a small hole in his heart. He refused to give me an ultra sound to check my sons heart condition after Riley recommended it. So, I made an appointment for a second opinion, he found out and told me if I was going to second guess, he didn't want to ever see me again. So, at 8 months pregnant,I got a new Dr. Who did an ultra sound and discovered my son was breach and I needed a c-section.They also said the reason I had gained weight was preclampsia. He made this emotional time so much more stressful than it needed to be. Please save your self a lot of stress and go somewhere else. Aegis took me in at 8 mo. prego and they were wonderful!

Dr. Brewer has always taken care of my gynecological needs. He saw me through a fairly difficult pre-menopause. Wonderful doctor with a wonderful staff. I've had to wait on him a couple of times, but that's to be expected out of a baby doctor.

I went into my pregnancy with high blood pressure, and Dr. Brewer was vigilant about checking me for preeclampsia. He is soft-spoken and reassuring, and I never felt rushed or ignored. Sometimes the waiting times were long, but these were usually due to emergencies at the hospital across the street; otherwise, he was prompt and helpful. His staff were friendly and easy to consult with.
