I have been a patient of Dr Baldwin for 20 years. She has always made me comfortable and did everything she could for me and my 2 children. I especially appreciated her telling me to use my instincts with my children and don't always give into what everyone says is "best" for my child. She is usually running late but I dont mind waiting to see her because I know I can trust her. My children love her, look foeward to seeing her and they appreciate her talking directly to them about any issues. I would even be willing to drive from out of town to see her. I dont know what my family will do when she retires SHES AWESOME. Her receptionist Bonnie is always proffesional and easy to talk to. I don't understand why anyone would say she seems disinterested in her job. I find her to be very passionate about it. And as for her seeming condesending, I find that hard to believe. In our experience Dr. Baldwin is very knowledgeable, professional, willing to admit when she cannot help and refer us to specialists. She has greatly assisted our family in a number of health crisis in which her quick diagnosis and action has actually saved lives! We put our lives in her competent hands and are greatful for her professional, and very competent care.

My family loves Dr. Baldwin. I would have no other take care of me. She has called late at night after a vacation, just sopping into her office. She advised me that our son had pneumonia that showed on the X-Rays taken at the hospital. I asked the emergency doctor if it was pneumonia and he said NO. Thank God she called the next night and told me what it wase and asked to see him first thing in the morning. As far as her punctuality goes. I really don't let that bother me as I know she is the best and I am willing to wait for the best. Obviously so are a lot of other people or she would not be so busy. We love you Dr. Baldwin.

Dr. JB is a knowledgeable, practical and up beat physician. I trust her clinical instincts and abilities, something at the top of my list of priorities. Over the years she gathers a family history that helps her understand your life circumstances. Yes, she is busy, as is the case with all our docs in Canada. JB's whistling precludes her entrance and although one can sometimes feel rushed, such is life with a family physician who works part-time with a busy practice. I find her no nonsense approach refreshing. If you need more time with her, just tell the receptionist Bonnie and she will schedule you accordingly (i.e.the end of the day). A relationship with one's family dr. is always give and take, as is life in general. You can't go wrong with Dr. JB.

Dr. Baldwin is the BEST in my books. I have been a patient for the last 25+ years and have no complaints! In the rare case of an emergency situation I have had no trouble gettting in to see her. There has never been any hesitancy on her part to refer for x-rays, specialist, etc. I find Joan to be a straight-up person who expects honesty from her patients and returns that honesty back in her opinions and wellness suggestions. Dr. Baldwin is a forward thinking professional who I have utmost respect for.

Joan is a wonderful doctor! She's very competent, very compassionate and easy to talk to. She never "gives up", even when you have done so...and she encourages you to take control of your own "stuff". I feel very lucky to be her patient, and am delighted that she is my daughter's physician, particularly as my daughter moves into the "young woman" (20) stage of life. Joan deserves the accolades she has got to date, and then some!!

Joan has been my doctor for more than 25 years, but the past year or more, I have felt quite rushed and at times, I felt she was quite condescending to me. 5 years ago I would have said she was the best. She always took time to get the full picture, she had great bedside manner and I felt she made good decisions. However I am now considering looking for someone else as I no longer feel she is working with me.
