Dr. Weinstein has been so kind, thoughtful, compassionate, and knowledgeable with my Mom and I through her battle with dementia. He takes time for her to ask questions, (usually over and over) and to give me ideas and resources to help both of them.
After reading these negative ratings, I almost waited for a different neurologist, I'm so glad we stayed!

Physician was rude and short with me. Did not seem to want me in his exam room. Problem solved...did not return.

I have been going to this doctor for years, I have never seen anything I read on this rating board. He has always been the most helpful, and the nicest doctor I know. He always explains my condition, my options, and possible medications. I have never seen anything described in these ratings. I'm sure people who see him has more severe problems than I do, but my issue is imprtant to me and he seems to always cover everything I need.

One of the worst doctors I have ever been to. He was not helpful. He was condescending, rude, eye rolling, shoulder shrugs and dishonest about serious symptoms.

I am 52 and I can honestly say this is one of the worst doctors I have ever been to, He needs to retire. I feel sorry for anyone that goes to him for medical treatment. THE WORST

This guy needs to retire before he kills someone. He was rude condescending grouchy and close minded. I was offended by him in many ways. Don't go to him expecting to find a doctor who is going to listen to you & explain to you what is wrong because Dr Weinstein is totally burned out. HAS NO EMPATHY.

When I first met Dr. Weinstein I could tell I was in for a treat. His body language said it all. "Another patient, Ugh." I accompanied my dad, who has MS, to discuss the possibility of him trying out the new Walk Aide device. Before I was able to ask what he thought about the device, he was quick to cut me off and said "I don't know anything about it." I told him that I had researched the product and many patients saw improvement. His next response was "Well that won't help him." My response was "I thought you didn't know anything about it, so how can you say it won't help him." He got irritated and said "Well fine, I'll sign the script for him I guess." All I could say to myself was "Wow, how can he be a doctor?" Pretty mind-boggling. I find comfort knowing that Dr. Weinstein will have to work harder to overcome the new ins. cuts which will either force him to improve his bedside manner in order to keep every patient&aquire new ones or he will soon face the alternative....unemployment

From the second he walked in the door, he was cold which I dismissed because you can't judge a doctor (or anyone for that matter) on first impressions, HOWEVER the guy totally made me feel like I was crazy when I told him how I was feeling. He dismissed everything I was trying to explain saying that I was hallucinating. OK, maybe what I was feeling is phantom-like but I have no other way of explaining it. Isn't this what patients are supposed to do? What a dick!!! Not only did I not have a good experience with him, but several other people "in the industry" who no him concurred. Really? Why would St. Lukes have someone on their staff like this? Disappointed, to say the least.

I have a rare migraine condition called Hemiplegic Migraine. It is a migraine with stroke-like aura so the right side of my body often experiences partial paralysis (among other things). I was frightened of the numbness in my throat. He rolled his eyes at me and said "there's nothing wrong with the muscles in your throat." Later, I would lose the ability to swallow and aspirate in an ER. I didn't know, but he certainly should have known that this is a distinct possibility for anyone who loses feeling in their throat. In addition, he was generally condescending, patronizing, and just plain mean. He billed my insurance $400 for the pleasure. I would avoid this man at all costs. There are many very wonderful neurologists in the area.
