was my endo for years until he retired, and I was doing remarkably well under his care, now I'm all screwed up thanks to another endo I had to see after he retired. He is sorely missed. Why do all the best doctors retire too soon. I would really like to know who replaced him, because what I ended up with was surely not someone he would recommend.

Having had multi nodular thyroid for more than 10 years and having it biopsied at that time, the doctor put me on a low dose of synthroid but never told me to come back for any follow-up. Through my own insistence I requested to see Dr. Toews. He has worked with me for not quite 2 years ,changing my medication a number of times, and I feel my condition is improving. I do not know where I would be without his care. He has spent a great deal of time with me which I certainly appreciate.

Pretty good Dr ,listens to what you have to say has compassion and understanding on subjects ,for thyroid and Diabetics ,wish he would do further testing as I'm still not well other Symptoms have flared up with me as my GP has sent me for more Testing ( my GP is a excellent Dr ), Hopfully they will find out what is wrong, did put my on meds but thay have not helped ,needs to let patients go on Armour Thyroid for more effective healing,as it has T1 T2 T3 T4 ,in it to help stablize a persons thyroid levels ,JMOH all in all pretty good Dr .

Excellent doctor! He saved me from an internal medicine doctor who was old school and wanted me to use an old methodology to fix my thyroid disease. Dr. T put my disease into remission in no time at all, using medication and I feel great now.

Dr. Toews is a highly intelligent individual. He is a helpful, accommodating, caring and compassionate doctor. He has been extremely helpful with my 16 year old daughter who is a Type I diabetic and I feel she is extremely fortunate to be under his care.

Dr.Toews is pretty much the reason that I can live such a sweet life. He is the only one that has such knowledge in regards to Insulin Resistance, and It took me so long, so much depression, and so much disappointment to even get through to any other **** doctors. Dr.Toews knew what it was within seconds on looking at me. I owe my health to him. He may tell it like it is, but sometimes people need to hear it. I love this man, we need more doctors like him. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
