I found Dr. O’Sullivan to be very professional and thorough. I had a video conference call with Dr. O’Sullivan via Maple Virtue N.S. He refilled prescriptions I needed, provided a blood work requisition I phoned about and explained many of the symptoms I was having as well as providing the referral I needed. He took the time to review my medical history as this was my first Maple visit. Very pleased with my first contact with Maple.

I found Dr. O’Sullivan to be very professional and thorough. I had a video conference call with Dr. O’Sullivan via Maple Virtue N.S. He not only addressed the issue that I phoned about; but he took the time to review my medical history and addressed several other health issues that he felt needed to be addressed. Many thanks; it was well appreciated!

Last night, I arrived at the ER with my elderly father. Dr O'Sullivan was thorough, patient, caring and kind. After many tests and examinations, he discovered a bowel blockage. The treatment my dad received from Dr. O'Sullivan was outstanding. He went above and beyond to calm my dad down and make sure he was as comfortable as possible until he was transported to Yarmouth Region in the morning for a CT scan.

Simple awful. Seems to have no compassion or regard for anyone but himself.

Whenever you need him or need something he is there for you and you can usually get in to see him on just a day or twos notice.

Dr Osullivan has been my family Dr since my dad passed away 17 years ago,and I agree with most of the comments, hes a very caring DR and always finds out whats wrong or he sends me somewhere they do,he has a big heart ,hes more than a dr hes a caring person, sicknesses are not only physical their mental to and he shows that,he takes good care of me and my children, there is one thing I don,t like about him and i found out its not just me its alot of his patients,he doesn,t like anyone being overweight, and thats the only way that i find he can be rude, but im a dietbetic, just found out a year ago,and as soon as he gets bloodwork or xrays back and sees something wrong hes on the phone calling me at home ,making an appointment,so he does care, but wants everyone to be 100pds,and sorry its just not happening in ns,lots of overweight people in out town,he might not realize it hurts his patients like it does ,but i can truely say hes the best Dr our yown has ever had.Marilyn

Dr O. has been my doctor for as long as he's been in Shelburne. Though my visits are few and far between, I have never had a problem with him and he has always been thourough, kind and helpful. In a town with more than it's fair share of questionable MD's, O'Sullivan is a blessing... And his staff is excellent, especially nurse Ruth Waters, a real sweetie. =)

Had him as a doctor for my son in outpatients. He diagnosed what was wrong with him right away when the other doctors failed to figure the problem out. I credit him with possibly saving my sons life. One of the best if not the best doctors I've ever dealt with before.

I was seen in ER by him and had menorrhea for 3 weeks. He insisted that it was my Birth Control and sent me with some pain relief. Turns out I have a condition that is BiCornate Uterus and there was inflammation that was causing the pain and bleeding.. Good thing for Dr. Riley who came to my rescue and sent me through to Yarmouth ER the next morning after i went back to him in ER. Everyone needs to know their bodies and sometimes dont take no for an answer. Drs arent god, they do not know everything.. they all have flaws.
