He has been my GI doctor for years and also did my last colonscopy and endoscopy. He is a wonderful doctor and cares about his patients. He is one of the best GI doctors I have met. He treated me for gastritis which is an on going issue. He is also very caring.

I have seen Dr, Brust and he is an excellent physician. However, his office staff leaves much ti be desired. I have been waiting more than a month to have my rx's called in, amd keep getting a runaround and many stories from his nurse. She is either incompetent or uneducated as tp how to accomplish this.
for patients needing their medication, it can be dangerous as well as frustrating. If you go to Dr. Brust, be prepared for the same incompetence both I and my nephew (who is also a patient of Dr. Brust) have experienced.

I have been seeing Dr. Brust for four years and have never had a bad experience. He is professional and thorough, knowledgeable and efficient. Over four years, I have seen him probably twenty times as I have a chronic GI condition - in those times I have never seen him rude or dismissive to myself or anyone else. As a nurse, I can say that he is always compassionate and professional, much more so than I would say for many of his colleagues. I also know that as a member of the medical profession, we are pressured to do more and more each day with more and more limitations. I think he is superb and have recommended him to many friends and colleagues, all of whom have been happy with their experiences as well.

Dr Brust gave me a colonoscopy, never again. I had to ask the nurse to see him. I'm sure because he felt interrupted he was brusque and abrupt. He just had no time for my questions. Was not clear with his answers and certainly did not answer them to my satisfaction. WOW terrible bedside manner. Just had no time for me. The nurse was more clear in her explanations of what was found. Very arrogant! Never again!!!!!! He is definitely into the God syndrome and not typical of my other Holy Cross physicians. I wish I had read the other negative reviews.

Dr.Brust gave me a colonoscopy several years ago, and I refuse to see him again. His first comment to me was infantile and rude, and the comments of his staff after the procedure was just as stupid and asinine.

This man was the doc on call after I had a colonoscopy from another doc in their office (Amar) Two words: THANK GOD! My advice if you go to Holy Cross and cannot see Brust, find another practice.

I have been seeing Dr. Brust for the past three years and have visits about 4 times a year because of my Crohn's disease. I have seen 4 or 5 other gastroenterologists over the years as I was diagnosed about 20 years ago and have moved several times. Of all, I find him to be the most helpful, knowledgeable, and accessible when I have a problem. He has called me personally after changing my medication to see how I am doing.... that is RARE nowadays. I can't speak for the two people on here who left their less than positive reviews, but after three years of seeing him, I can say that he is NOT RUDE and he is certainly not misinformed or lacking in knowledge.

Awesome doctor. Seen 2 other GI docs. Dr. Brust took his time. Finding what the true issues were and treating them accordingly. Thank God for him.
