I really can't say anything bad (except maybe having to wait in the office for a while). I had a hysterectomy - no pain, no discomfort; back to work after four days. His sense of humor - probably not everyone would agree with it; worked fine for me. I would definitely recommend Dr. Eckert.

Dr. Eckert has been my doctor for over 10 years and I have been very happy with his care. He has helped be through perimenopause and with Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement Therapy which has greatly enhanced my life.

I've been with Dr. Eckert for the past 15 years. I need emergency surgery last year and he was great. The only down side is that he doesn't give you the test results. I usually have my other doctor's get the results, which is not right.

He was the meanest Dr I have ever met. I went to see him because I needed a check up and I was also experiencing a low sex drive and my vagina wasn't feeling right. I mentioned that I had an abortion a few months prior, and he went off on me. He told me that it is wrong to have an abortion unless I was raped or it was incest. Then went on to tell me that is the reason I have a low sex drive and that my boyfriend and I will break up because of it and I will need therapy for the rest of my life. When he checked me, he said he doesn't see anything, and then asked his nurse for a microscope just to make sure, and said - "Nope, nothing. Thank God for microscopes." Then he realized I needed a pap smear and told his nurse to book it with the NP because he didn't want to deal with me. I was in tears when I left. I told my neighbor, and she said that she went to him years ago and he told her she has dirty woman syndrome. Seriously???? He shouldn't be allowed to practice.

The staff changes all the time and they are very rude. I am on Bio Identical Hormones with Dr eckert since 1999 and he has NEVER checked my hormone levels. he is very rude and never listens to what you are saying. When you go to the office be prepared to wait at least an hour!!!

The staff is wonderful and sweet. The MA is wonderful, good at what she does, and a pleasure to talk to. The doctor is rude, does not listen, and does not know what he is doing. He refused to do an ultrasound for non-menstrual pelvic pain, and argued about my desire to switch birth control when it wasn't helping with my menstrual pain. He does not let you ask questions, and if you do, he gets angry and storms out of the room. On top of that, he makes you wait for at least an hour before seeing you.

I went to this doctor under the auspice someone could finally undersatnd my hormonal problems. He had the nerve to say "perhaps I should get married and have a baby" and this could "re-boot" my system. I was appalued! Later I found out he was recommending to replace hormones and I am producing my own. His office staff are completly on a different page and half the time they could not find my chart.
