Dr. Bourque is a terrible doctor who is too old to practice. He is in his late 80s and is senile. The office is run without care of the patient and no compassion for the sick. You wait there for hpurs and receive less than no medical care.

Too bad the office staff is so unprofessional and rude! The doctor was great but I will never return here again because the office staff either picks up the phone and puts me on hold immediately without even greeting and asking if I wanted to hold. I had a true emergency and called one day close to their closing time. The receptionist asked me to hold, put me on hold for a very long time (listening to music) and I called back 15 minutes later only to hear a recording that the office was closed. They do not have an on-call physician available for after-office hours. The office staff is very rude, unprofessional, and seriously need some training in medical office etiquette.

The south florida Intermed facilities are the puppy mill of the health care industry. After having annual physicals early in the year my wife and I noticed that we had been charged for several tests and lab work that we did not ask for and did not authorize. When we attempted to talk with the Dr and staff to sort out the charges we were very rudely asked to leave the office. If you have used this Dr, please check what you have been charged for.

I was turned away by this doctor simply because I wanted to pay by personal check. I have an auto-immune disorder and was very sick on the day of question. The receptionist asked the office manager if they could accept a personal check just this one time and the office manager replied that they have been burned too many times in the past. Seems a $20.00 co-pay is worth more to them than my health. I will never go back to this doctor, nor will I recommend him to anyone. Signed, Burned in the Present...
