My family has been going to Dr. Kilcollilns for many many years and I really don't know what we are going to do when he retires. We will be lost without him. We have been through some rough times and he always knows what to say to make us feel better. Yes it is hard to get into see him but the wait is worth it. He has always been understanding and never rushes you out. He takes his time and makes sure he knows exactly what is wrong with you before he decides what to do to fix it. I will never find another Dr. as caring as he is. I hope he stays for a long long time. Keep up the good work, We love you!

Dr. Kilcollins was my along with the rest of my families Dr. for over 20 years. I found him to be the most kind, patient, respectful Dr. I've ever known. His knowledge level I would consider good. He was never arrogant like many other Doctors and he always seemed to value what input I had on my condition. It will be a shame when he retires.

Dr. Kilcollins is, indeed, the lovely man that other posters have made him out to be. HOWEVER...I suffered for my entire teen years with Ulcerative Colitis because Dr. Kilcollins did not refer me to a specialist, instead labeling me as "lactose intolerant", even after I stopped eating dairy (at his instruction) and continued to have a lot of pain and GI symptoms. Kindness and a smiley face when you go in the office does NOT replace being responsible and accountable to your patients. When I went away to university and, by necessity, switched to a geographically closer doctor, he took one look at my symptoms and immediately referred me to a GI specialist...a month and several tests later, I was diagnosed and on medication that completely improved my health and life. Please...learn when to refer someone so they can get the help they need. PS- I agree that his front desk receptionist is hell on wheels and tries to diagnose people HERSELF over the phone in order to save him time!

Cal is an amazing Dr and can always be reached in the case of an emergency. His receptionist is the only person trying to keep him on schedule... A very difficult process, I would imagine, since he gives everybody all the time they need. It seems that when one person has an appointment, they drag along their entire family, and then people wonder why he is behind and why the receptionist guards his appointment book so diligently. I think she does a commendable job, considering... As well, I do not know anybody that "could not" get in to see him, when the REALLY needed to.

I started seeing Dr. Kilcollins when he first opened (many many years ago). He is the only doctor I heard of that REALLY LISTENS to his patients. With Dr. Kilcollins, when I go to see him, he lets me put in my two cents worth. Afterall, it is my body and I know what I am feeling. He makes me feel at ease with myself and his has the most wonderful dispostion. Both of my boys are extremely comfortable talking to him about male problems. I am pleased to announce that it is my understanding that Dr. Kilcollins plans to be around for at least another 10 years. Unfortunately, he won't be here when I start aging and will need him the most. But, hey.....I had a long run with him and I have ABSOLUTELY NO REGRETS. He knows his stuff and when he doesn't, he sends you to someone who does. What more could you ask for......An excellent doctor, a wonderful person.

I started going to Dr. Kilcollins when he first opened his practice. He help me a great deal when I delivered my son almost 20 years ago. Had to change doctors because you could never get in to see him when you needed him because of the front desk personal and I moved a 1/2 hour drive away. Was really sorry to have to change doctors.

I had Dr.Killcollins for my family doctor for many years and like I have read on here from others you will never find a better Dr.I always felt I had been treated the way a patient should be treated and felt he always knew exactly what he was talking about.Unfortunately I had to change Drs. because I had a hard time getting into him.You almost had to plan you illness to get an appointment.I don't blame him but I never did care for his secretary he had, I found her rather rude and very outspoken. If you are going to be in the work force dealing with people then know how to treat them.I do miss Dr Kilcollins very much for his always being there with an open ear and understanding. However I have found myself another Dr. but I will continue to aleways have a great opinion of him.All the best in the future years into your retirement as you have definitely earned them
