Dr Press is superb. She was thorough and paid attention to details. She took her time to explain and understand what's going on. She's the best doctor I've met so far.

I choose to see Dr. Press for an annual check-up as I feel she's willing to take the time to discuss any and all concerns I have about my health.
Recently, she took time to discuss several different birth control methods with me and explained how they are used and how they might affect my body. I was able to understand why certain ones might be a better choice for someone with pcos. She even ordered a few tests to get a better idea of which forms of birth control might have an adverse affect on my health with my condition.
Very few doctors I have seen in my lifetime seem as knowledgeable about pcos as Dr. Press. Nor are they concerned about the health problems and risks this hormone disorder is linked to, including diabetes, infertility, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.
Dr. Press is intelligent, professional, patient, kind and concerned doctor. I never feel that I am not being listened to.
Another wonderful thing about this doctor is she is willing to follow-up on the phone.
Being someone with small children, sometimes making appointments can be difficult especially if I can't find childcare.
I asked her if we could follow-up with my test results and settle on choice of birth control via telephone and she was very accommodating.

Dr. Press "INPRESSED" me. She was very throw in her testing. She called my cell phone while I was on holidays to share some results with me. I had a vitamin D deficiency. I started taking pills right away and the research on vitamin D was extremely enlightening. My phoryicis is clearing up just 1 week later. I am totally amazed. Why would my GP in Melville not run test to determine this? Why have I been to skin specialist in Regina with no testing done???? WOW The phoryicis as was diagnosed was very disabilitating on my hands and feet. I would wait hours, days to see Dr. Press. I will say a thousand thank you's and it would not be enough. I will pay it forward...forever with gratitude. Sincerely, Brenda Hayden

I value Dr. Press's knowledge, and the time she takes to talk through different avenues that could be used in my treatment. I have seen her for 2 1/2 years now and she has help me a great deal and I will continue to see her. Sometimes the wait to get to see her is rather lengthy, but I would rather wait to see her, and then have the benefit of not being rushed while in her office while she takes the time to answer all questions.

The clinic she runs just a big joke.It took me one month to phone every monday to book an appointment on my convenience. I specifically asked to see a nurse-practitioner. Was booked to see Dr. Press for a simple PAP smear. Waiting in a waiting room for 35min it's OK. But to wait undressed in exam room for 1hr unacceptable.Than she lectured me how to do exercises. Was ordered bone density test. Ten months later nothing happened. Referral didn't go anywhere.Very unhappy with services I received. Waste of government money and my time. Not going back ever.

Unfortunately Dr. Press has become a horrible doctor ordering tests outside her now chosen "women wellness" realm, sends alarming letters regarding Pap smear results that can only be dealt with another appointment several months later. Meanwhile her disdainful receptionist is unsympathetic to the worry created with the letter. Dr. Press is vague in her treatments & is disappointing as a physician. Her office doesn't share results with Family Physicians either. My advise is to give your health to someone who is a genuine care giver, not someone who isn't. Dr. Press also needs to tone down the arrogance she displays in public. Perhaps it's time to retire & just ride her Harley.

I have been to see dr. Press for several years. She is always very friendly and patient. She spends time with her patients and never makes you feel rushed. I am so happy she sees women for their annual check-ups, where seeing your regular male GP could be unconfortable. I would always recommend her. In response to her waiting times, the office requests patients to phone before coming in order to see if the doctor is on time. They are very respectful of patient't time as they do not encourage patients to wait in the office.

I like her as a person, but felt that she did not understand my condition very well and I also want a doctor with hospital priveleges. Not sure why one had to wait hours when she does not have the hospital to juggle. It was her nasty and unprofessional secretary that finished it for me. I understand there is a new one, but it was very difficult to deal with the other secretary. Eventually I just gave up.
