If you are looking for the best pediatric spine doctor then look no further. Dr. Jofe is thorough with his approach and has an awesome bedside manner. We went to him for many years as we were tracking the curve of our child's spine. We were lucky and neither a brace nor surgery were needed; we are grateful that we knew that we were going to the best and because of his disposition it wasn't a scary place for our child to go to but rather a pleasant place to visit a respectable kind doctor.

Dr. Jofe operated on my daughter and did an absolutely fantastic job. She was discharged on the third day and back to school after two and a half weeks. Her x-rays and scar look terrific and his bedside manner made all of us feel wonderful.

Amazing, conservative surgeon. He operated on my 12 year old daughter who had a double curvature. T spine was greater than 70 degrees and L spine was greater than 50 degrees. He did an excellent job on not only the surgery, but taking care of my little girl post-operatively. Had a great experience considering how nerve-wracking a surgery can be on your little girl. Bedside manner was superb and she had virtually no pain after the first 48 hours. Would recommend him to anyone in need of his gifted hands. Thanks Dr. Jofe for changing my little girl's life.

My son had a noticeable curve and his primary refereed us to his office. I was initially sent to someone in Jofe's group, who refereed us to Jofe to review his MRI results. This is rudest doctor I ever met. He greeted us by asking "why we were there to see him, after making us wait for 3 hours for him to review the MRI results. Then he said my sons curve was only 18 and it was " a slight condition, and no big deal". During the conversation he let us know that we were defiantly waiting his precious time. A year later I go back and get another xray, and now at age 12 my son has a curve of 30. He could not even be bothered to discuss it, and sent an assistant. I guess when it gets bad enough for him to make some real money on the surgery he will grace us with his presence.

I have been seeing Dr. Jofe since I was 14 (am 20 now). After two years of suffering from chronic pain, he performed a revision surgery (scoliosis-related) and gave me my life back. I cannot say enough good things about this man. He is an incredible physician and an equally incredible person. If you are looking for an extremely intelligent, caring, and up-to-date doctor for your child that you are able to trust, communicate with, and feel confident in, look no further.

Doctor Michael Jofe is a genious and far none the best scoliosis surgent in USA. My daughter had one of the most difficult corveture 70 Degrees. She had just truned 11 so surgery needed to be performed asap. Dr. Jofe's methodology, brilliance with these type of surgery that leaves no room for error when 10000 errors may occur is note worthy. Not to mention patient manors and care. I feel blessed as my daughter's surgery was an incredible success. Success is does not happened by luck after 5 thousand surgery without a mistake I called that the genious of a man and we parents and the children he touches is a blessing that is beyond words could express.Solange Bernales Pascoe

Dr. Jofe performed 3 surgeries on my spine between the ages of 12 and 15. He is an expert surgeon and anyone would be fortunate to have him as a surgeon!
