I found that Dr. K Persad did not help me with my health concern, and was rather rude and made me feel like I was wasting her time, up until that point I had been fairly happy with her. She has been a good Dr. for my child and always been thourough. I just was not impressed how she handled a very serious concern and she is not very friendly outside of her office:( Her husband Dr. Atma Persad is an excellent Dr. from the experiences we have had with him and also very friendly.

This woman knows how to do a pap test! She is done before I know she has started - and given the circumstances this is a blessing! Plus, she is human, and has a sense of humor too - and is a doctor! Crazy right? Nope, just a great doctor, as is her husband.

Dr. Persad is the best family physician I have ever encountered and I am very lucky to have her. She is down to earth and very personable. I really like that she is very current in her knowledge and that she is often able to provide me with research findings related to my health concerns. Her practice is evidence based. I have also found that consults with specialists when she has a particular care concern. She has been a collaborative partner in the decisions that I make about my health. On one occasion when I was very unwell, she called me at home to check on me. She is really a gem!

Dr. Karen Persad is by far the best and most thorough doctor I have ever encountered and that includes big city doctors. She will not leave any rocks unturned until she finds the cause of your problem. I have been very blessed to have her during my complex medical issues. I am glad we have her in our town and her husband is very thorough as well if you cannot see her but she is smart and caring all wrapped up in one great doctor.

Dr. Persad is one of the kindest doctors I have ever seen. She is incredibly efficient but not at the expense of bedside manner. She is not afraid to admit she does not know the answer and will do as many tests as necessary, consult with, and refer you to a specialist if necessary. She is also the only doctor I have ever had to call me at home, instead of getting one of her staff to do so. You are lucky if you are able to get Dr. Persad as your doctor.
