Dr. Sherwood was our family doctor when I was a teenager struggling with depression. She was rude, offensive and not helpful or supportive at all. She actually was insulting and made me feel worse. Had anxiety about going to her for years and didn't trust doctors until many years later when I finally met a doctor who treated me like a human being and not a piece of garbage. Not looking to be "mollycoddled" just treated with some basic human kindness dignity and respect.

What an awful experience. It was comparable to being a prisoner and swing the prison doctor who hates you for your indorgivable crimes. She was rude, abrasive, and a comple jerk.

Dr. Sherwood blatantly shamed me for seeking medical attention for persistent dizziness, nausea, and headaches. She said it was "weird" that I chose to seek medical attention for this, and she told me that it was "ridiculous" of me to come to her clinic for this. She rolled her eyes and scoffed many times when I answered her questions about my symptoms. The fact that she's in a position of power scares me. She was, frankly, abusive, and I worry that she could do some serious harm, if she shames and berates others for seeking medical attention when they are suffering. Please don't see this doctor.

SHE IS AWFUL. AVOID THIS DOCTOR AT ALL COST! My girlfriend saw her at a clinic to get a blood test and she left in tears. She doesn't believe that yoga is exercise!! Has she even DONE yoga? She should not be practicing medicine.

I was really sick with a cold and saw dr. Sherwood at the walk in clinic. She prescribed Benylin. I expressed my concern siince i am a recovery drug addict and did not want to take any narcotics. She dismissed my concern. After i left the clinic, i checked with another medical source re: Benylin. Should not have been prescribed to a recovering addict AT ALL. Glad i checked and did not take this rude womans advice.

I agree with the last person that she's not here to pat you on the back and cuddle you to make you feel better. She's quick and to the point and doesn't fool around. She's also not a pill pusher like some doctors are - she'd rather find the true source of the problem and treat it properly, rather than mask it with medications. If you want to be cuddled, go buy a dog or a cat. If you want an honest GP that's going to get to the root of your problems, call Dr. Sherwood.

I think that Dr. Sherwood is the best doctor in the world. We have been with her for about 15 years. I owe my two children to her practical, insightful care. I was 34 and going to another Dr. in town. I had a late miscarriage and he wanted to put me on a wait list for BC Womens hospital with a 2 year wait. Ridiculous considering my age. I went to Dr. Sherwood and she got me into an obstetrician here in Victoria with a few months and took wonderful care of me through 2 high risk pregnancies. I can't say enough wonderful things about her and I think that a lot of the people who have complained about her need to consider whether or not they go to a Dr. to be mollycoddled or to have great medical care. She has never hesitated to send us to a specialist and has always been helpful compassionate and understanding. She is the best and my family and I will never leave her as long as she has her family practice.

At first I thought it was me..............I have had to endure some of the most excrutiating pain in the last few days. I did not want to tie up the emergency dept. at the hospital. It was recommended that I go to St. Anthony's Walk in Clinic. (My own doctor is away). I left in tears. This women who I will not call Doctor is extremely rude and unkind. If you have to go to this clinic and she is in attendance my advice to you is run from there as fast as you can.

Extremely Rude. Snapped at me and my daughter. Yelled multiple times at her. Appeared to treat her job in the same regard as a prison sentence. She did end up treating us, though she appears to hate children.
