Had implants done twice by Dr. Hirshfield, the first time around he did a great job, second time, not so good, I want a lift and bigger implants, I told him I wanted at least 500 CC, he talked me out of it and blamed it on my husband,Once the surgery was done I told him my implants were smaller than the last one he insisted they were bigger, I even wore my dresses and demanded he look at how much bigger my clothes were. He told me if my stomach got smaller my implants would look bigger, He never wanted to see any pictures. He put in 425 CC in with a partial lift, I told him I was not happy, he said talk to me in October and he can work something out, I went for a few other opinions and other doctors told me I can definitely go bigger and with a full lift, Dr. Hirshfield told me he would not be interested in doing a full lift or going bigger with my implants. Long story short, I went to a Dr. in Palm Harbor he did a full lift and 800 CC 9 weeks ago and I am very very pleased with my results. Not sure what Dr. Hirshfield was thinking he kept trying to talk me out of bigger implants saying they would look stupid, they are heavy, etc, I would not go to him ever again. I requested half of my money back to be fair and he refuses.

After having a partial colectomy and colon anastomosis(reconnect colon), my abdomen was protruding and very distended which was very uncomfortable and unsightly. Also, part of the scar had become hypertrophic. My dermatologist referred me to Dr. Hirschfeld (Bay Area Cosmetic Surgery Center). Dr. Hirschfeld and his staff were so incredibly wonderful. The results of the scar revision and abdominal liposuction exceeded my expectations and I am very pleased with the results.

I am now 7 months out of my surgery and I feel and look great. We all have that hesitation on thoughts of having plastic surgery, but I must tell you my experience was easy, very little pain and brusing. It all went so well. I was well informed by Dr. Hirschfeld, his nurse Dee and the rest of his staff even the anesthesiologist made me feel totally relaxed. The surgery room looked as though I was in a local hospital. In the recovery room I was monitered and the anesthesiologist stayed with me until the right time was reached for me to go home. All my bruising left rather fast and I was ready to get back into the mainstream, thanks to Dr. Hirschfeld. Mary Hart

I had the most incredible experience beginning with the consultation. Dr hirschfeld and his staff are warm and welcoming. The office environment is clean, neat, fresh, and organized. Dr hirschfeld asked appropriate questions related to my surgical requests, listened to me, explained thoroughly and kindly, and made me feel safe and secure from the very beginning. Surgery was performed in office in an accredited surgical operating room that was clean, neat, as well as aesthetically pleasing and appropriate. I had minimal bruising and pain and attribute a majority of that to having an educated and experienced surgeon like dr. Hirschfeld. My procedure was about a couple hours long and went smoothly. My anesthesiologist took very good care of me and i did not awake with nausea or vomiting, in fact i did not experience either at any point in my recovery. I am 8 days post op and feeling complete. Dr. Hirschfeld is the best as well as his staff, especially Denise. I had my breasts done about 13 years ago, and I think they still look great, even after 2 children. I have referred many, many people to him, and all have been happy. Hopefully, I can go back to see him soon. Cindy Hunter-Teacher

I got a breast augmentation about 3 months ago and I couldn't be happier with the results. Hirshfield makes you feel so comfortable, which I found hard with other doctors. He has so much experience and knows exactly what he's doing. I definitely reccomend him over any doctor in Tampa

I highly recommend Dr. Hirschfeld to anyone and everyone. I did a lot of research and went to several different doctors in the local area. He was the most professional, honest, and polite doctor. His work is a master piece and his staff is just amazing! He always makes time for his patients. He is not the type to tell you what you want to hear or what he thinks you want to hear- he is honest. He truly enjoys helping people and making them feel better about themselves.

Denise, the receptionist is the best at getting you an appointment when you need it. Dr. Hirschfeld is very, extremely knowledgeable in his field, he doesn't just jump in, he really knows his stuff. He cares as to what is best for you.
