Sadly he has moved to Ft. Myers. I will really miss him...but not his staff.

Everything was great about the staff and the doctor. The only problem I had is that I was trying to call for 30 minutes before my arrival, and kept getting the answering service although it was not during their closed hours. The receptionist told me that they have three lines, and when they are busy, the line reverts to the after hours answering service. Instead, the line should revert to a regular voice mail so people can at least leave a message. It was extremely frustrating to try and get in touch for that long and never get through to them.

I saw this dr for about three years. Initially, I had no issues. He was friendly, seemed to know his stuff, appointments went well, etc. But this last year things changed dramatically for the worse both with the dr and the staff. The dr seemed to stop listening despite the fact that I was telling him I did not feel good. He told me in back to back appointments to "give it time" or "let's wait and see" and then when I finally said "something is wrong with me!' he told me I was probably depressed and should get some antidepressants. Instead, I went to another endocrinologist for a second opinion. That dr immediately changed my meds and within weeks I was back to my old self. And his staff is worse. One time I talked to them for five straight days and never got an answer to a simple question. Now I've called them every week for SIX weeks trying to get a coding mistake corrected...and they still haven't fixed it. I cannot recommend this place.

my husband didnt even go to the initial appt, which he mistakenly missed the staff was so rude and instead of talking every answer was let me check and let check, the worst office staff, dont go to this doctor. I am sure there are plenty of ENDO's in Tampa. Pt should not be treated unfairly and rudely.

Saw him 10 years ago for diabetes. He felt a thyroid nodule on the first visit, which ended up being thyroid cancer, something all my other MDs missed. I still see him for diabetes. Knowledgeable, caring (may be too much at times, to the point of being strict), spends time. Will never change him as my doc. The staff can be friendlier, but I understand their situation. On one visit, there was a loud, rude, obnoxious patient blaming the staff for not having the result of labs he did the day before. He verbally abused the staff. Having been a hospital nurse for 12 years and an office nurse for 5, my experience has taught me that the patients who complain the most are usually the biggest jerks of all.

Dr. Concepcion is incredibly knowledgeable. He is current on the very latest treatments used at top hospital and research facilities. He takes a great amount of time with me at each visit, explaining my diagnosis, results, and treatments in great detail. He has treated me for several years for Hoshimoto's thyroiditis, thyroid cancer, and diabetes. I have been cancer free with completely controlled thyroid & blood sugar levels for three years. I couldn't say enough positive things about him. He isn't even covered by my insurance anymore, so I pay cash because I refuse to go to another endocrinologist.

I liked him. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He did very thorough exam and explanation, answered all my questions. He might seem a little cold, but I like when physicians act as professionals. And his professionalism was unquestionable. The stuff is slow, they put you on hold for 10 minutes doing other stuff. But besides that, everything was fine

I believe Dr.Concepcion is efficient and listens to my concerns. I had a thyroid nodule and he was very good in following up on this. Also, my diabetes. Recommend him. Listens to my concerns.
