Not competent regarding rare diseases. She will make a decision in ten seconds that will affect the rest of your life. I have suffered for years due to her assumptions and ten second rule. She should stick to birthing babies and doling out tylenol.

I have been going to Dr. Lebel since my family moved to Summerland when I was 2 months old. And never had a bad experience. She listens and makes me feel comfortable. I'm very happy to have a such a knowledgeable and compassionate dr.

I can not BELIEVE that some people on this site have negative things to say about Dr. Lebel. Are we talking about the same doctor? I had the privledge to have Dr. Lebel deliver my second child. I was scared, nervous and emotional and Dr. Lebel was so incredibly kind and compassionate. I followed her advice and had a perfect healthy girl in a calm and quick way.. she is an amazing doctor and I feel so lucky for our family that she has accepted us as patients.

I saw Dr.Lebel when I was pregnant with my 2nd child, she never deliverd the 1st one. Anyway I came to her concerning wrist pain I thought was connected to pregnancy, a little bump was even forming. She said it was because of "my weight" (I was 250 ibs and she considered me "morbidly obese"). She told me NOT to worry about it and it would go away after I had my baby, it didn't. After having this condition for some years, incompetent dr's, I finally have a lead on what it is! I go to the cancer institute this month :(

Dr. Lebel was my family doctor for the 10 years I lived in Summerland, BC. She delivered my 3 children, and she has been the best doctor I have ever had. Sadly we moved away, otherwise she will still be my family doctor

Dr. Lebel has been my Doctor since she first came to Sum"l"d - very happy with her I have a chronic disease she sees me every three months - Always makes time for me. Of course sometimes you wait any Doctor I have gone too I had to wait awhile. She's removed many skin cancers on my body - always concerned not to give me any pain. She has sent me to many specialist over the years. I would recomend her as a Family MD.

I saw Dr.Lebel through all 4 of my pregnancies. She was wonderful. I'm very surprised to see commnents that say she was rude or unkind! That stuns me because she was SO compassionate. When I started to panic during my first delivery, she put her arms around me and whispered in my ear that I was doing great..was so very encouraging and compassionate! I can't think of one single negative thing I could say about her! Awesome, compassionate and kind woman.

She delivered my first child and made me feel at ease whenever she was around. She had an extremely kind bedside manner and made me feel confident in myself during the delivery. I've worked for different doctors for years and can definitely say that she's one of the best I've encountered.

Dr.Lebel has been my doctor since 1986. She is a top notch doctor with plenty of knowledge. She delivered all four of my kids and was very supportive and encouraging through all of my pregnancies and deliveries. I like the fact that she doesn't push pills and respects my decisions. She is also doctor to my kids and I've no complaints there either. I can't imagine what we'll do when she retires.
