I saw this doctor years ago. He was very ,very rough with my yearly pap-smear. It was so painful and he made me bleed! I’m surprised that this doctor has good ratings because after what he did I never saw him again! It was traumatizing. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone.

I suffered a horrible work accident in Alberta. After many attempts to find a doctor with good knowledge on back injuries it was a blessing to have put trust into Dr. Bretecher. His patience and recommendations are making my back injury bearable until surgery. Wish every doctor was like Doctor B.

Dr. Bretecher is a very kind and caring Doctor. It would be nice if the appointments were not double or triple booked. The waits can be very lengthy. His receptionist, Jan., is a pain...very rude, abrupt and inconsiderate! A person in this position should be kind and understanding as people don't need extra stress, especially when you are not well!

Dr. B is always helpful. I appreciate that he is not intimidated by requests for a second opinion, and will help me find the people I need to see. He refers when necessary. He is avaiable.

Our family doctor and we do appreciate his understanding/medical service. Sometimes reception has to follow the rules of the clinic manager and they are only the messenger.
