Dr Edward J Cooper tore my colon during a routine sigmoicoscopy. There were no issues or pre-existing conditions prior to the procedure. I complained of severe pain during the procedure but he continued with the testing. He eventually stopped after my repeated outbursts of pain. He refused to believe something had gone wrong and sent me home even though I was in a lot of pain following the procedure. I ended up in the emergency room that same morning and had 2 surgeries that year to fix my damaged colon.
