Based on my last several visits, as well as communications via email with the receptionist, I will say that the service he offers has greatly declined. The lack of follow up on issues, the lack of actually seeing patients, and the inability to get paperwork done and sent off at all has made such a negative impact with medical care for me.
As well as the frequency of late and missed appointments, and the solution to any problems being medications, which in my case would have reacted negatively to other medicines he has prescribed me as it is. it has become increasingly frustrating dealing with such an out-of-touch doctor.

Dr. Tompkins is fantastic! Best bedside manner of any physician I have ever had. My parents went to him for many years, and he gladly took myself and daughters on. He takes his time through appointments, listens and acts accordingly. I'm so blessed to have a doctor like this!

Dr. Tompkins has been my doctor for over 20 years. He is caring and actually cares about his patients. He is down to earth and makes sure you understand everything.
He will definitely be my families doctor for more years to come.

I would easily exchange my family doctor with Dr Tompkins if he decides to accept patients in Guleph. Caring and knowledgeable, something that is fully required from a doctor and missing in most family doctors today

Love this wonderful Doctor he is so sweet and will take the time to listen and act right away on whatever the problem is. He is a true blessing from our Lord thank you for everything, more Doctors should take a leaf out of your book.
As for the sweet lady who has left your Practice because of a form her Husband did not get filled out right, Sweet Lady, I think u will come to regret your decision as your Doctor Tompkins is one in a Million i pray one day i will become a Patient of his but i am thankful he still will have time for those of us who are not.

Dr. Tompkins is a gem. Will actually LISTEN to you, spends time with you, and will send you to a specialist without hassle if you need it. He's honestly the model of care standard that other family Dr's/G.P's should emulate. So happy to have him in Guelph as well as Woodstock.
