Dr. Baker has been our family doctor for many years. At times we have become frustrated with her "attitude" and tried other physicians. We have learned that dr. B is extremely competent, compassionate and open to discussion when you are truly in need. Her impatience with the waste of health care $$$ is something we should all value. She will try things before ordering unnecessary tests and this is not a bad thing

Rude. Unbelievably rude. The poorest bedside manner I have ever seen. Berated, mocked and embarrassed my 12 year old daughter for not being able to adequately describe her symptoms while in a significant amount of pain. Also berated me for scheduling a follow-up appointment after being sent for a mammogram for a large lump she found in my breast during my exam. Asked me "what are you doing here?" When she entered the room. Told me she would have called me if there had actually been anything wrong with me. Clearly she felt I was wasting her time. After I spent 3 terrifying weeks wondering if I had breast cancer that was her response. This woman should not be practicing medicine.

DOCTOR BAKER WAS THE WORST DOCTOR I HAVE EVER BEEN TOO! I brought my daughter in to see her and she has the worst bedside manner and was down right RUDE! I will never ever take my children back to see her. I agree with the other comment on here that horse doctors are more knowledgable.

I was brought to ER in Rosthern via ambulance from our cabin, where I had been injured. I was in extreme pain. The ambulance staff was absolutely rude and awful and uncaring. Numerous reasons I was left with a very bad taste towards Wakaw Ambulance. The last thing they did was not help me off the ambulance to enter into ER at Rosthern and I almost fell. I told the lady ambulance person, and she could have cared less. But once I got into ER I was treated with dignity and respect by DR. Baker and the entire staff. I found the care I received while in the hospital that night extremely helpful and caring.

I have had many encounters with Dr. Baker. She is one of the most ignorant, rude, and careless person I have ever met. She does NOT care about patients, instead she sits on the stool and degrades you,she has absolutely NO COMPASSION for others.Hard to believe that we pay all this money for someone to just sit there and instead of helping you, makes you feel like a piece of crap! I would never recommend her to ANYONE, she truly is Saskatchewan’s WORST DOCTOR!

I think her sarcasm in emergency was very uncalled for , when providing statement about condition/injury...after a head injury maybe it was because the age was 18...however female intern was fantastic!

I have seen Dr. Baker at the Emergency room and have experienced both a good visit and a terrible one. She seems hard of approach and is short and rude at times, her bed side manner is to be disired. She made very sharp accusations regarding my health and was later found to be wrong but I had no choice but to see her 6 months later again in ER and she actually was kind and explained that her husband as well suffers from a bowel disease colitis if I am not wrong so her understanding and care was amazing. I think we dont know how much these dr.s in small towns are overworked and become short due to exhaustion and sometimes they are not made aware of all the facts. Overall Dr. Baker can be short but we need to keep everything in perspective and understand that ER's are there for emergency's not a little head cold or a waste of their time!!! Society is forgetting what ER's, medical clinic's, dr. offices, etc. are all to be used for, we are a little spoiled and waste their time!!

Complete lack of interest in her patients. Made a visit to the emergency room with a very sick child. She was on call, but couldn't be bothered to come to the hospital. Based on the nurse's description of my child symptoms, diagnosed us over the phone, gave directions for a steroid medication which the nurse administered, and sent us home. What if she had been wrong?!! There's a reason we pay doctors to be on call... it's so we can see THEM when we're sick... the ones who are suppose to have the training and experience.
