Dr. Baker was my doctor for a number of years when I lived in Louisville. You would expect an older doctor to be out of the loop a bit, but he's as sharp as any doctor fresh out of med school. He's not real big on treating pain, probably aware of all the pill addicts down there and doesn't want to write scripts for pain meds. At any rate, he ordered a couple of tests for me that two other doctors would not, and I appreciated that. I'd rather have a smart doc than one who simply tries to mask symptoms by prescribing meds.
