I had an EMG test a few years ago with Dr. Simovic. He was very pleasant and professional. My only complaint is the long wait in the waiting room and the very thin paper gown I wore which kept tearing with any small movement. It was almost comical as when he came in and saw all the tears in my gown he started taping them up. There were several rolls of tape. I'm sure by now they are using better quality gowns. He gave me my diagnosis right away which was Carpal tunnel syndrome.

Receptionist was the most rude person I have met in a Long time. She lack professionalism and needs to consider early retirement because this pandemic had effected her ability to deal with the public correctly. Stay away.

Years ago, I underwent surgery which resulted in a condition called “pressure neuropathy”. Basically, during surgery a nerve was stretched and compressed to the point where it stopped innervating the muscle to which it was connected resulting in temporary paralysis of said muscle. Not necessarily believing this was a temporary condition, I decided I wanted a second opinion”. I went to see Dr. Simovic, to whom I was referred by the PCP. I underwent a series of neurological stimulation of nerves and muscles, which felt like minor electric shocks. Some people have found this testing painful but I’m not I. I went home and got the bad news a few days later from my PCP. He said that Dr. Simovic diagnosis was permanent paralysis.
The shock when I receive that news resulted in PTSD. And I was told I would have to walk with heavy metal braces for the rest of my life. Every doctor, including my hair orthopedist cannot for the life of them conclude how that was a diagnosis. Everyone said that it would begin to heal within 6 to 12 weeks. And that this doc didn’t know what he was talking about. Literally, they were scratching their heads over this. Turns out, he was wrong and they were right. There was really was never ANY doubt that it would get better! I think this guy is a quack! And someone I know went to him for neurological testing and said it was so painful she felt as if she was being tortured. The word she used to describe him was “sadistic”. I couldn’t believe that somebody with so many plaques on his wall, so much training so much recognition in his field could have gotten a simple diagnosis wrong. And he said that I would never walk again without heavy braces I believed him. Thank God he was wrong. Run away from this guy screaming as fast as you can.

My spouse had an appointment and when the provider found out what my spouses insurance was at the time of the visit he completely discriminated again him. This doctor accepts his insurance but refused to do the study. My spouse stated "well if the insurance doesn't cover it you can send me the bill and I will pay out of pocket."The doctors response was "No, I'll just end up sending it to collections".This doctor discriminated against my spouse, raised his voice at him and kicked him out of his office. When I called to follow up on what had happened and why the test was not completed his office staff stated "well he (your spouse) knows why and would not explain. When I asked for the spelling of her name she laughed at me and asked why I needed the information.I advised her we would be filing a complaint and she laughed at me and hung up. IF YOU HAVE BEEN TREATED POORLY BY THIS OFFICE please file a complaint at borim.statutory.reports@state.ma.us

I was referred for testing to Dr. Simovic because of very serious pain in both hands. I was early as requested,. There was a patient waiting for her appointment when I arrived. I was not seen until 50 minutes after my appointment time, and that was just to lead me into a room. No introduction or greeting. I was give a paper gown, I was then told to run my hands under hot water, and he returned to an adjacent room. I stood there about 20 more minutes with my hands still under hot water. He returned from the adjacent room when he heard the water go off, and told me not long enough—continue with the water and then sit on my hands. Now it’s more than1 1/2 hours after appointment time. I waited another 10-15 minutes. When he finally came in for the testing, he sternly gave orders to me as to what I should do. If I didn’t do it exactly, he shouted more orders. For example, he told me to raise my elbow in the air - I went in the wrong direction and he actually yelled in a very derisive tone. I asked a question and was told he doesn’t answer questions. I then told him not to yell at me which he pretty much ignored. I am 75 years old, and I have seen many doctors over the years. I have never encountered any medical person ever who acted so rudely and disrespectfully. I have never even considered entering a negative review for any medical person. I do not recommend.
