Dr Emil Basacia does amazing work. I had skin cancer removed from my face, and you can hardly see the scar. He has a great reputation, I would highly recommend him.

This doctor specializes in cosmetic procedures and I went to him for broken capillaries which he promptly recommended 4 laser treatments. I stopped after 3 when I saw no improvement and actually my skin looked worse. Another dermotologist cauterized the area I found most affected at a fraction of the cost. This practice has invested in multiple lasers & has no problem using them at $1K a treatment even if a cheaper & more effective treatment is available. SHAME ON YOU DR. BASACIA!

He excised a mole from my thigh (which turned out to be benign)leaving a larger scar than I was told by another doctor was necessary. I was also told by my 2nd opinion that it could have been done in incremental steps, possibly leaving a much smaller scar. The staples used were placed in an unorderly fashion and my 2nd opinion Dr. was surprised staples were used instead of stitches. I'm still healing and quite concerned

This doctor is the "cosmetic" dermatologist on staff, yet I have a very significant indentation, discoloration, and scar on my right upper arm as a result of having a mole cosmetically removed. The indentation is so obvious that people stare at it when I am wearing a sleeveless blouse. I also have a permanent indentation on my lower jawline as a result of him removing another mole.
