Initially had decent experiences with this doc but saw he’d forget to order tests. Had a recent appointment and he was unprepared to listen to requests for simple tests I’ve asked for for two years. Not happy that requests for meds were also denied. Visit felt super rushed. He also forgot to order a test for this visit too. I don’t feel heard by this doc and won’t be returning to Brandon Clinic.

Saw him at walk-in in Brandon and it was very obvious that he’s just there for the paycheck. Had an open wound and just said to take Tylenol. Wasn’t even going to check it, until I insisted. Arrogant and not helpful in my opinion.

Always genuinely concerned about the patients health and does an incredible job. Great bedside manner with a no goof around approach. Not scared tell us what we he thinks and sometimes we patients need that !!

Dr Roux has been our family physician for years. We really appreciate how attentive he is. He is very hard working and devoted.
And we have confidence in his care. Unfortunately we usually have to wait to see him, with lots of people waiting in the clinic. And the staff aren't very friendly. They act as if they are being bothered by the patients.

Dr. Roux has been my family doctor for quite some time now and I wouldn't want to go to anyone else! He is caring, compassionate, has a sense of humour and straight to the point. I never feel dumb asking any questions, and he makes me feel comfortable from the moment my appointment starts until it ends. He always follows up and genuinely cares for any of my medical needs. I have even seen him out and about the doctors office, and he even takes the time to stop and chat! We are very lucky to have Dr. Roux in Virden!

Dr. Roux has been our family physician since he started practising in Virden (10+ years). He is straight-forward, knowledgeable, compassionate, and very thorough. He listens to his patients and is quite willing to fit his patients in even if this means increasing the length of his work day. Our community is very fortunate to have this physician practice here.

I was shocked by how Dr. Roux handled my repeat pregnancy losses. He made very careless and hurtfull remarks, including stating that when (african) babies "fell out" at that stage (early pregnancy loss) they called them "cockroaches" because "that's what they looked like".
