This man pushed drugs at me but he didn't like me because when i came to him i was already on Narcotics from my previous Dr's. So for the first year or so he kept renewing the narcotics but not once did he ever check me out in any way. He never once laid a hand on me to even check my pulse or blood pressure. When my son died he walked into my room nodded his head, sat on the arm of a chair for about 30 secs. , got up, looked at me and quietly sad sorry and walked out. Never seen him again because my new Dr. that i got in Drumheller, a town about 1 hour away from the hospital that i was transferred to so i could be closer to my family and friends. Before i left Drumheller in the ambulance my new Dr. had got me another Dr. in the hospital that i was transferred to and told me that Dr. Lombard was no longer looking after me. The Dr. that i was seeing now in the hospital that i was at, is just as awesome as my new Dr. in Drumheller. Dr. Lombard needs to go back to school and take the courses on being kind, beside manner and actually try to be a real Dr.

Dr Lombard was always extremely rude to me. Accused me of being a drug addict, when he constantly pushed meds at me instead of taking the time to talk to me, and looking into my illnesses and diagnosis. He also contradicted my diagnosis by 2 specialists. Definitely had an ego problem, and actually told me he had a personal problem with me, even though I had never done a thing to cause said problem. So why did he keep requesting I make follow up appointments? He gave narcotics to drug addicts(people whom I knew), and his secretaries would sit and gossip about patients in voices loud enough for waiting patients to hear. They were extremely rude, and after suffering a year of him, I chose to drive an hour to see a new Dr. At the end of his life he suffered, which was horrible to see, and even though he was awful to me, I prayed for him and dropped by the office to make amends for our 'personal problem'. He actually prayed with me. It was very sad that it took dying to make him into a compassionate man. May he rest in peace.

A couple of years ago I stepped on a piece of glass. It went through the sole of my shoes, and nearly made it all the way through my foot. I yanked it out myself. Lots of blood. The next morning I worried that the wound might be infected. I went to Dr. Lombard. He gave me a needle in the foot to kill the pain, cleaned up the wound, gave me a couple of stitches, and sent me to the hospital for some kind of shot. Then he gave me the bad news. He said that any aspirations I may have had to be a foot model were pretty much over. How do I rate the guy? He was effective, and pleasant - and friendly. How he could remain upbeat with all the ill people coming in to see him? - That is beyond me. I couldn't do that.

The receptionist set the tone for the whole appointment, she was more than rude on the phone. I hate to rate overall staff based on one receptionist but she was awful and one of the reasons for me leaving dr. Lombard. I was treated rudely for not being to the office in over a year (sorry for being healthy) and frowned at for having a midwife take care of my prenatal needs. I was told the only reason they made an appointment for me was because it was a slow day otherwise he wouldn't have seen me. I had been a patient for over 9 years! Dr. Lombard was quick to dismiss me even though my health concerns weren't addressed. I agree with some of the other posts, he used to be more caring but didn't give the same care as he used to.

I LOVE this doctor!! He is SUPER friendly and is NEVER in a rush. If he seems like he is, don't be afraid to ask whatever questions you may have, he will stay and make sure all your questions are answered before he leaves. I could tell you many horror stories about experiences I have had, but Dr.Lombard is a GODSEND!!!

After waiting 2.5 hours, yes,,,, 2.5 hours, 150 minutes, I finally got in to see the Doctor. I have been seeing Dr. Lombard for over 8 years. This doctor has lost his passion and is now only interested in pushing as many people through the door as possible. If you like getting pills to answer all your problems then this guy is for you,,,, but if you want someone who will actually listen to you without patronizing you then keep looking because Dr. Lombard is not interested in your diagnosis. He will dismiss anything he did not think of himself. This doctor has changed. There was a time when I would brag about how good is,,,, not any more. Maybe greed has gotten the best of him.
