Dr. Patrick Bulinski is incompetent, arrogant and dangerous. I was referred to him for removal/biopsy of two masses, one the size of an apple, the other the size of a marble. The affected breast was also swollen, red, dimpled, blotchy, with prominent engorged veins and bleeding from the nipple.

After he manually and visually examined the breast he said it was a quick easy fix and described the 15 minute procedure with local anesthetic I would have.

I thought that didn't sound right and called his office later the same day. They told me if I was worried about it to bring my radiology reports to the procedure and talk to him before hand.

I brought my radiology reports on the procedure day and discovered Dr. Bulinski was indeed only planning to remove/biopsy the small lump. I gave my reports to my prep nurse who disappeared with them. Two hours later the administrator of the hospital came and introduced herself to me. She said she had assembled a team of her best doctors including a highly esteemed breast specialists via video call. They were planning how my surgery should be performed and I would be going into the operating room soon.

An IV was started and an anesthesiologist met with me. At the last moment Dr. Bulinski came in. He would not speak to me and I realized he was livid. As he drew the incision lines he said "Patient WAS going to get one incision but she wants TWO...sooo she gets two." The sarcasm was frightening but I did not have time to react. I was wheeled away, knocked out, and underwent a two and a half hour surgery. I was sent home with a square of gauze taped over each incision, without binding or wrapping.

Within two days my breast had doubled in size and ultimately ruptured in the shower. I was left with a 5" deep open wound that forked to my chest wall. I had to go to a wound clinic for 5 months of daily repacking for it to heal from the inside out.

I ultimately got his notes from my initial office visit with Dr. Patrick Bulinski. I was shocked to see his assessment, other than the one small lump he literally said "no other palatable masses, no discoloration or dimpling of breast tissue, no nipple discharge". He physically and visually examined my breast. I am dumbfounded.

Both masses contained two types of pre-cancers. The breast specialists that took over after the surgery was shocked and disgusted by the medical care and surgery I received from Dr. Patrick Bulinski.

The breast ruptured because Dr. Patrick Bulinski failed to cauterize a bleeding internal vessel. My breast is now disfigured as a result of the rupture and due to Dr. Patrick Bulinski inexplicably cutting against the meridian lines, rather than along them which reduces scarring. Apparently this is unusual. Cutting against them resulted in me being left with unnecessary scarring and disfigurement. In hindsight I wish I would have ran like my hair was on fire once I realized Dr. Patrick Bulinski was enraged going into surgery.

Rude and arrogant. Uncaring with an appalling bedside manner. Is supposed to be an excellent surgeon but his attitude cancels everything else out.
