Dr. Tam wasn’t my OBGYN. I see her everytime my doctor is away for vacation. When I first met her, I told my husband I wish I was referred to her instead. She’s very friendly that you’ll feel comfortable asking questions, and she’ll take her time answering all of them. I am so so happy she was the doctor on duty when I gave birth. She’s very empathic and very supportive. Her positive energy is just what you need when you are scared. I felt really comfortable and cared for! She’s the best. 5 starts isn’t enough to express how great she is!

I met her, because my original doctor was away on vacation. I must say I was scared and at first reluctant to see her, because I did not know what to expect. But I am so glad I kept the appointment, because she definitely knows her stuff and kind of wish now that I asked to be referred to her instead. My doctor is personable, but Dr.Tam definitely knows more about my chronic health condition and I did not have to beg her for ultrasound referral. I found her bed side manner to be professional and straight to the point. The role of the ob/gyn is to be your doctor not your spouse or best friend. Personable or blunt I do not care as long as the doctor knows what they are doing. If you are going to Sturgeon womens ask to be referred to Dr.Tam.

dr tam is very dismissive and lacks empathy with very poor bed side manor. I am very dissapointed how she has treated my spouse throughout her delivery, but unfortunately our regular ob was away on vacation. would highly recommend finding another doc.

In June of 2021 she pressured me to get vaccinated for covid and told me it was completely safe. Right around the same time reports of myocarditis started coming out in the media. I am so thankful I did NOT listen to her as these “vaccines” are not safe and have not been thoroughly tested on anyone let alone pregnant women. It was an uncomfortable experience. Doctors should know better. Critical thinking is missing in the medical community overall.

Dr Tam and the team saved my wife from a catastrophic event that could have been dire. She is an angel she is very professional and explains everything in details. She is very very very skilled. I dont know what we would have done without her. The team at the hospital was also very kind and helpful. I wish her all the best that life can give she is really one of the best if not the best Obstetrician

My normal gynecologist was away, and I needed to get a refill on my medication for endometriosis. I also needed to talk to my doctor about my adenomyosis and PCOS since I have become extremely sick and worried about my health. Dr. Tam finally came into the room 45 minutes late for the appointment, and didn't seem to have read my chart aside from what medication I am on. Instead of listening to the reason I was there she decided to inform me that my endometriosis would be cured if I had a baby. Had she read my chart she would have known I can't have a baby, and how absolutely insulting that is to tell an infertile women to just have a child to cure the pain. Aside from that complete slap in the face, when I tried to tell her about not being able to eat or sleep her answer was just try to think positive thoughts and it will all fit better. Never have I been so insulted.
