I was Dr. Hughes's patient for 30 years, and I am also in the medical profession, yet when I was pleading with him that something was not going right in my body last year, he completed disregarded my pleas. After five months of begging him for assistance I ended up with major abdominal surgery and almost died. He never once came to visit or called while I was hospitalized. He has outlived the intent of the Hippocratic oath that he swore to uphold. I hope I was the only patient he disregarded.

After 25 years of being under his care I am thankful for Dr John Hughes' abilities to listen, diagnose, explain, teach, consider carefully, consult and/or refer, spend time, prescribe with care, and look at the whole person as well as the whole family , if they are also in his care.

Dr hughes is one of the person who will mark your life.. Treat you more than the physical aspect but is capable to feel your pain at another level, will do everything he can to help you, however and whenever you need it.. A one of a kind.. Mille thank you to him and his perfect team..

this man is arrogant, sarcastic and uncaring with his patients. he was my mothers doctor until her death. In her last days he wanted her sent to another hospital and never called to find out how she was doing even although he had been her doctor for many years. Im amazed that he gets good reports from others. I would never recommend him to anyone.

Extremely knowledgeable explains his diagnosis effectively and to the point. His whole staff are polite and helpful. He spends the time it takes to make sure you understand.
