I am an RN. I have had lots of orthopedic issues and several surgical procedures. I have had two procedures with Dr. Madsen. I find him efficient, straight forward and very knowledgeable. He cares about his patients but does not coddle them. He even gave us his personal cell phone in case of emergency..... have never had a doctor do that. His staff is helpful and polite. They always return calls timely. I never have had long waits in the office.

Dr. Madsen did my carpal tunnel decompression surgery a couple of years ago and I am very pleased with the outcome. He was pleasant and knowledgeable as was his staff. I am planning on having the same surgery on my left wrist with Dr. Madsen. I highly recommend this doctor.

I like Dr Madsen very much. He fixed my broken elbow a long time ago and now my broken leg. I think he’s a very responsible and intelligent person and he is also easy going. I recommend him

Had knee rep, and it was horrible. Was in pain after surgery and they tried to reach the doctor four times before calling a different doctor. I asked to go to physical therapy and he,would not allow me. I was better off not having surgery. I would never recommend ever.

Very SKETCHY doctor. I had issues with both my knees. I was suffering severe pain when standing up, so I thought that I should see a orthopedic to check it out. The first thing I noticed is the unprofessionalism of front staff and subtly rude medical assistant. And that not even the best part: Dr. Madsen just glanced at my knee, felt around it, and then concluded that he can do surgery on it. Point, blank, period. I asked if he wants to do an MRI/X-ray first to make sure, and he told me that he's sure. How can ANY doctor, no matter the years of experience just look at a knee, feel it and plans for surgery? Sketchy, much? I'm so glad I got a second opinion. When it comes to surgery, it's serious business - not monkey business. I don't know what kind of doctor's office he is running.

Dr. Madsen operated on my 84 year old mom after she suffered a broken arm from a fall. She is in poor health and has very weak bones from osteoporosis. Not only did Dr. Madsen do a fantastic job with her surgery and after care, but he was great dealing with her in the condition she is in. We could not have asked for a better "bed-side" manner. He not only explained things to us but took his time to help her understand as well. He was very personable and we didn't feel like he was rushing when seeing her.

Thank to him, my right leg is 1.25" shorter than my left leg. Went to him in March 2013 with extreme pain in my leg and he gave me a shot for bursitus. When told about the shortening of my leg, all he could say was, Hmm. Went to an orthapaedic surgeon that diagnosed the problem and said I would either have to rebreak the leg or use a lift. Have tried the lift and it makes a world of difference. Stay away from this guy.

Finally no more pain!! I've had wrist pain for 2 years now and I went and saw Dr. Madsen and it's finally better. He is super busy but I can see why. He actually takes time and is a super nice guy. I did have to wait about 20 minutes but he had someone doing chair massages so I got a massage and the wait went by fast.
