Dr. Hullinger respects patient autonomy and takes care of the whole person. She is a great listener and decision-making is a team effort with her. I was very sad to leave her practice when I moved out of state. The only complaint I could possibly make is the long wait time. However, it is there because she takes the time to listen to and really care for each patient, so I was willing to wait for that higher quality of care. I would recommend her to anyone I care about. She is great!

I hardly notice Dr. Hullinger's staff, so I waffled between a 3 and a 4 for that rating. They've never gotten in my way nor particularly impressed me. Dr. Hullinger has an amazing memory for her patients, and it's obvious when you interact with her. I see her perhaps once a year, and she sees many patients a day, every day, so I wouldn't normally expect to be remembered well. Last week, I went in for a no-notice appointment. I know that I was the third or fourth unscheduled urgent appointment that morning, so she can't have had much time to review her notes. Even so, Dr. Hullinger was able to recall an astonishing amount of detail about my life, both medial and personal. She also connects comments my wife made months ago to my health and lifestyle when I show up months later, and vice versa. This has happened multiple times, despite the fact that I have a very common first name and my wife and I have different surnames.

Dr. Hullinger is very nice but tends to refer to specialists very quickly rather than ruling out stuff first (which would be WAY cheaper usually). Also, her nurse Linda, is horribly rude and Dr. Hullinger acknowledges this but says it is out of her control to change. Overall, she is a good doctor but a little too cautious in her referrals to specialists. The medical group would do well to let Linda go.
