La note que devrait mériter ce médecin est de 2. Le personnel et la ponctualité n'ont pas vraiment de lien, je trouve. Il m'a vu en sans rendez-vous dans une clinique du nord de Montréal. J'ai d'abord aimé son approche directe et les questions qu'il posait pour mieux me cerner comme patient qui réclamait des renouvellements de prescriptions. C'est deux jours plus tard que je suis devenu totalement furieux : ma pharmacienne m'a indiqué qu'il m'avait renouvelé mes médicaments pour 6 mois et non 1 an (c'était illisible). Eille! Ce sont des médicaments que je prends depuis 8 ans, je lui ai apporté mes fioles, je lui ai conseillé d'appeler ma pharmacie pour vérifier mes dires... ce qu'il n'a pas voulu faire. On parle pas de morphine, là!

J'ai su par la suite par une secrétaire bien gentille qu'il refusait de renouveler des médicaments pour un an à des patients qu'il ne connaissait pas, qu'il n'était pas mon médecin de famille. Re-eille! C'est-tu de ma faute si le système est tel qu'il est et que je me cherche un médecin depuis 3 ans? Tous les autres médecins que j'ai vus par le passé m'écoutaient et renouvelaient mes trucs pour le temps nécessaire. Et comment se fait-il que Dr Kassissia ne m'ait JAMAIS DIT en personne qu'il me donnait juste des fioles pour 6 mois? Quel manque de respect, quelle irresponsabilité! L'État (nous autres, en fait) a donc payé environ 250$ pour un homme qui m'a vu 5 minutes et l'État devra repayer 250$ dans 6 mois pour que je vois un autre doc, alors qu'on est dans tes temps de compressions incroyables!

Très mauvaise expérience. Ne m'a pas laissé expliquer ma situation, m'a coupée rapidement. M'a dit que j'avais contracté des ITSS sans procéder à un examen, ni à des prélèvements. M'a tout de même proposé un traitement. J'ai dû insister pour qu'il procède à des vérifications en bonne et due forme. A fait un appel personnel pendant que je l'attendais dans la salle d'examen, de l'autre côté du rideau. Est revenu en disant à l'infirmière, devant moi, qu'il ne voulait plus voir d'autres patients. Et qu'il quitterait bientôt. A révisé son diagnostic en faisant des inférences déplacées et erronées sur mes activités sexuelles. Malgré la douleur intense, ne m'a proposé aucun traitement pour me soulager. Et m'a recommandé de m'acheter un produit en vente libre à la pharmacie, qui n'était pas du tout pertinent à ma condition. C'est le pharmacien qui, exceptionnellement, a renouvelé d'anciennes ordonnances faites par un gynécologue, désormais retraité, pour que je puisse me soigner.

Je ne peux jamais avoir de rendez-vous annuel avec Dr. Kassissia. Il a même annulé un rendez-vous, sa secrétaire m'a dit qu'elle me rappellerait pour fixer un autre...je n'ai jamais eu de nouvelles. Pour savoir si je faisais de l'hypertension, il ne m'a jamais envoyé passer des tests, il a tout simplement pris les relevés que j'avais pris à la maison. Il n'écoute pas pendant que l'on décrit nos malaises, et a même doublé, par erreur, la dose de mes pillules d'hypertension. J'avais un début d'arthrose, et il m'a répondu: s'est de la fybromiagie, je ne peux rien faire pour toi....et est parti dans la salle d'attente pour appeler le prochain rendez-vous. Je me cherche un médecin plus responsable et plus humain que cet homme d'affaire ne pensant qu'à sa clinique et non à ses patients.

Apart from waiting 2 hours to see him, I was treated with care.I am a previously diagnosed patient with Ankylosing Spondilitis. I had followed up with many doctors but none had time to explain to me exactly what i am going through. Dr Kasisia made effort to arrang for my referral, Explained me everything about my disease in simple words and scheduled a follow up appointment with no waiting due to my pains. I wish all doctors could be like him.

I am going through a very difficult time of depression and anxiety and decided to get help for the first time in my life needing time away from stressful work; I explained my situation to a nurse who seemed genuinely concerned but Dr. Kassissia saw me for 5 minutes, leaned back in his chair like he thought I was lying and told me he can't give me more than 3 days off because, quoting him verbatim: "I don't know you." He also told me he would do the same for anyone else. Thank you for making me feel like a number instead of a person in need.

I went to see dr. Kassisia Jan 18th, 2012 since my dad looked very ill. As soon as Dr. Kassissia saw him he sent him right away for xrays. He had lung cancer, stage 4. A few days before that he went to emergency two days in a row at the Jewish general hospital and was SENT HOME both times saying everything was fine!! Thank God I saw Dr. Kaississa as he knew right away that my dad needed xrays as he was able to tell me he had lung cancer....I am very grateful that I went to see him.

I have been seeing Dr. Kassissia for the last 8 years. He is very through and most of the time makes his diagnosis on the spot. He does not wate time with trivialities. I trust him and consider him one of the top doctors in Montreal.

I first went to Dr Kassissia because he's the doctor of almost everybody in my region. They said he's one of the tops. Well, I was not disappointed at all. I found him to be caring, focus, respectful and really very pleasant. Best of all, he listened. I felt I was a person there not a number! Anyway, he treated my chronic stomach pain for good. I'm so relieved now, you have no idea! So now I bring him my 4 children and my old parents. Ah, and there is more: the clinic is nice with large parking facilities. No worries there. The staff was helpful. As for the waiting, I found it very reasonable in comparison of what we go through in quebec medical facilities. I myself was satisfied overall, so are my kids and parents and friends. Two thumbs up! Keep the good job Dr Kassissia!!

I am a pharmacist , I well positioned and can really adequately judge who is up to date and who is not who is loved and appreciated by his patients and who is not, who is devoted and almost all his patients adores him. His prescription shows clearly that he is up to date that he is on top of things. I chose him as my family doctor for the last 12 years amazing excellent judgment. How can he be a bad doctor if he is the most solicited doctor in the region? Every time I go to his clinic it is always busy of very happy people and of course some Jealous ones. Punctuaal when with appt and when he is in the emergency too much waiting he must be good.

This "Dr" is rude, arrogant, condescending & uninformed. I am trying to get off of a benzo drug, which has now rebounded on me and made my symptoms worse. When I came to him for advice & with a proven plan of tapering off the drug he refused to look at the information & told me it was "all in my head" even though I had landed in hospital after trying to cold turkey off this drug. There is a risk of seizure, stroke or heart attack associated with improper tapering or cold turkey off of any benzo medication. Stay away!
